Morning Peeps, Sheffield Wednesday boss Dave Jones has said he would have condemned his own club's fans for singing abusive songs during Friday night's highly-charged Yorkshire derby with Leeds if he had heard them. Does that mean he thinks his own fans are 'vile animals' ? Chinese whispers are amazing aren't they. Here is an American report on the overhyped Hillsborough incident. A fan who ran onto the pitch at Sheffield United to shove a goalie in the face has been arrested and given four months in jail. Was he captured by security guards or police on the field? Um, no … his identity was discovered after he saw himself on TV replays and emailed Sky TV to say he was sorry. At happened at Hillsborough in a match between visiting Leeds and Sheffield, as a fan raced from the stands and shoved Leeds United goaltender Chris Kirkland in the face. Can't believe how they cannot get the basics of information correct
Is this one wrong too? "Crystal Palace manager Dougie Freeman is set to become Bolton Wanderers manager, and Leeds forward Ross McCormack will be his first signing"?
"Crystal Palace to turn to Kenny Jackett if Bolton succeed in luring Freedman away from Selhurst Park"
Morning all. Nice to see the banter has returned, rather than loads of posts about some prat who will no doubt one day get what's due to him. Can't see Ross going to Bolton for the moment, as much because Ross is currently injured as anything else. Why would he go to a side currently lower than us in the league & likely to finish below us at the end of the season. Yes, I get that this is a 'Wall wind up, but I feel the need to exercise my fingers in response. So what of tonight? Surely we can put Friday behind us & scrape a minimum 1-0 win. Would like to see Hall start to give us a bit of width and a definte attacking option.
Dougie Freedman also said that when he becomes Bolton boss he would like to sign Zaha but some prick has slapped a 20M price tag on him.
LEEDS United have taken Frickley Athletic midfielder Indy Aujla on a two-week trial. The 24-year-old midfielder has been attracting the interest of scouts from the Championship club thanks to his performances for the Evo-Stik Premier Division Blues this season. His reward is the chance to try and impress Neil Redfearn, the Whites’ development squad coach, and manager Neil Warnock during a two-week trial at the club’s Thorp Arch base. Aujla arrived at Westfield Lane from Hinckley United over the summer and has been a key cog in Karl Rose’s team so far this season. He came through the Bradford City youth set-up and won the Young Player of the Year award in his final year as an apprentice but the Bantams didn’t offer him a permanent deal. Instead, the midfielder, born in Britain but of Indian origin, spent two years in America playing for Baltimore-based CCBC Essex and then move to Belgium with Royal Racing FC Montegnee before returning to Britain with Hinckley.
Nice to see some people just can't stop talking about me. And they say all publicity is good publicity. Not that I've got under your skin or anything. You mad bro? Bazynga!
Really? Oh. Bazynga! I'm off to the match. See if you can get through the game without talking about me
