Not going to get too carried away but I'm thrilled with our start so far. Apart from the 2nd half against QPR we've been outstanding. It speaks volumes that even the media are singing our praises and saying we've been a revelation thus far. We played good football under Ancelotti but not as good as this and criticisms off our style of play then was that we couldn't do it against the better sides. Having gone to Arsenal and Spurs and outplayed them both on their own patches it shows we've come a long way and they can't even spout their puritan BS with only the money card to fall back on. Even if we do drop off and can't keep up with the Manchester clubs it shows the potential is there. We now go into the game against United as clear favourites and rightly so.

I don't think I can remember a time where I have enjoyed watching our football so much. To think Azpi, Marin and Moses are still in reserve as well.

If we beat United on Sunday this will rank as probably the best start to a season I have witnessed as a Chelsea fan. I really think if we can avoid injuries and rotate the squad properly those that wrote us off and those that claimed our CL win was a fluke may just eat their words. We're not in the class of Barca, Real or probably even Bayern but we are certainly good enough to win this league or come close to it based on what I've seen thus far.

I'd still like to see another midfielder come in (M'Vila) and another Striker/GK as we're light in those areas.

I'd like to see Sturridge as a CF v Shaktar and Moses wide right, with Lampard coming in for Ramires and Marin for Hazard. Need rotation.

It just feels so good to not have to worry about how we are going to create goals like we have in the last 2 seasons. We should be 3rd minimum, anything else is underachievement although I believe we should be finishing above United.

Very good feeling indeed. Considering how long it often takes foreign players to adapt, our guys have done brilliantly. Furthermore RDM has done a magnificent job blending them and bonding them to the Chelsea badge. They are playing with spirit, determination and grit, coming back from goals down, fighting like Joses' team did. All of this has to be down to RDM. They want to play for him, and they look like they are enjoying things.
There is a lot more to come as well, it might be another 5 or 6 games before we really hit our straps. How about the way Mata has stepped up with Hazard and Oscar dragging defenders all over the shop. And if they mark Mata, Oscar breaks out. So many options and still Moses , Marin and the unpronouncable one to step in, plus Piazon, Lakuku et al.
When and if a dip in forms comes, as it usually does, lets hope them upstairs don't panic and start ****ing things up as only they can.

After we got back from the US tour I remember, feeling very nervous about starting the season without Drogs, and with Lamps in the twilight of his magnificent career! I just couldn't see me being on cloud 9 in the last week of October...BUT I AM!!!!!

I've been supporting Chelsea for many years now and this is one of the greatest seasons (so far) and there have been many high's and low's in this time. So yep riding on cloud nine <party>. Only problem I have is what will happen if Cech gets injured or knackered.

I am not going to lie, I am NOT a so called football purist mainly because I was sooooo entertained during our Jose years with brutes like Essien, Lampard, Drogba, Malouda and Ballack on form.

I loved the old physical Chelsea just smash teams into submission. It was a joy to watch. No game was boring for me. We could have 38 1-0s all that mattered to me was celebrating a goal and ultimately a victory.

Although I must say, this Chelsea team is very entertaining too. I'm loving every minute of it.

Great start and way above what I expected at the start of the season. Not only are we top of the league having only dropped 2 points (in a fixture we lost last year), but we have done it in style and are now right up there as one of the most eye catching sides.

Main concerns are what happens if Cech or Torres got injured due to lack of depth in these areas or Mata due to his sheer brilliance.

So far so good especially if we can get at least a point v United. 7-9 points from United and both the north London brigade away from home is champions form.

Invariably we will fuk it up over xmas like every year though!!

Also, to think we beat a very good Spurs team, on form and on their patch without Terry, Lampard or Drogba. Can you imagine doing that before this year?
