Invisible player glitch used to be hilarious. Someone puts a cross into the box, you think it's going straight to your guy at the back post to head away when suddenly OUT OF NOWHERE ROCKET HEADER IN!

Haha exactly, I used to enjoy both the invisible player and invisible ball glitches. Nothing more amusing than playing a game against a team of 11 invisible players, it felt like you were surrounded and being hunted, like you were in one of the Predator movies, and after all, any excuse to pretend you're Arnie is great. Much like the player impact engine glitches, they can be annoying when they happen to you at important times, but hilarious when a player randomly does a backflip after barely being touch.

Very true - that's why I leave handballs on when I play with friends, because the unpredictability of some of the calls are hilarious. Being given the most random free kicks and penaties screws up reasonable results but when nobody takes the game seriously it's just more funny. More reason to not take video games seriously!

How many of you guys play Ultimate Team? Am just after some advice.

My Chemistry is at 100 but does it make any difference after that if say your whole defence is from the same team (not just the same league)?

    I play a 442 with

    Brad Friedel

    Walker(RB) Vertonghen Kaboul BAE

    Valencia Kagawa Carrick Young

    Hernandez Van Persie

As my starting 11 and now and again it just feels like my defenders find themselves in the most stupid of positions, i don't think i ever win games on it whilst keeping a clean sheet. Yet on the normal head to head leagues i find it so much easier.

When my team starts losing back to back games, I always buy a squad fitness card, then problem is sorted.the squad fitness cards are pricey tho.
    hope that helps!

I think your problem lies with your players work rates, Walker, Vertonghen and BAE all have high attacking work rates. If you don't know what that is it is an in-game stat that basically determines how much a player attacks and defends. All three of those defenders have high attacking work rates and medium defensive work rates, which may be why you find them out of position, and even Kaboul is only Medium/Medium. Then you've got Valencia, Kagawa and Young all of whom I believe have High/Low apart from possibly Valencia. So basically the only player in your whole team with a high defensive work rate is Carrick, who is playing CM! To rectify this, I'd suggest either getting some more defensive-minded defenders (sounds like an oxymoron, I know, but it's true) in, or switching possibly to a different formation in which you have one or two CDMs who could cover your defence better. Or you could try just changing to Defensive or Ultra Defensive whenever you get into games, the former would be better because playing Ultra D is a bit of an Ultra D(ick) move.

And as the other guys mentioned, morale and fitness help too. Although personally I don't like buying fitness cards until late in the game when I just entirely stop giving a **** about money, I prefer to buy a cheap second team, either bronze/silver or cheap golds, to play with for a game every now and then to give your other team a rest. If you buy a second team for about 10 grand, you're already saving money by the time you've used them to save fitness 3/4 times instead of dishing out on fitness cards, and you can sell them back for hopefully no loss.

Yeah, Vertonghen is ****ing annoying with his workrates. Luiz and Fonte are exactly the same, sometimes feel like using Yoshida instead, but he's not as good. :(

It's pretty daft really. I mean Vertonghen does have good attacking abilities and can play at full-back and CDM very comfortably in real life, but if they're going to make him a CB don't make him attacking and turn him into a complete liability. Fonte and Luiz the same, both have some attacking ability, especially Luiz, but they are both still CBs and should play like it!

And to Style again, I realise I didn't give you any suitable alternatives to your players. I would advise for your CBs that in my experience, a few defensively responsible PL centre-backs that are good and affordable are Koscielny, Distin, Jones and Jagielka. Koscielny is nippy, not too strong but got 90 jumping so he gets up very well, and his defensive stats are all very very good. Distin is also pretty quick and has monstrous strength, and good technically. Jones is very similar to Koscielny in that he's pretty quick, but not too strong with good jumping and general defensive abilities. Jagielka is very underrated, not quick but not slow for a CB, very good strength, very good jumping and just very solid. You can link these players perfectly in three partnerships, Koscielny/Distin for French, Jones/Jagielka for English and Distin/Jagielka for Everton. Jones/Jagielka would also work with your other players, as Jones would link to Kagawa and Walker due to being United and English, and Jagielka would link to Carrick due to being English. BAE would no longer have any bright green links, but if you wanted to change that you could throw Baines in. A lot of things you could do just a few ideas for you there mate!

Robert Lewandowski is quality on UT, a must for a Bundesliga. Also Arnautovic is a 1k Ibrahimovic.

Arnautovic is the foundation of my Austrian team. Absolutely brilliant player, quick, strong, tall, rocket of a shot and good in the air. 1k Ibrahimovic is a very good way to describe him.

Get toni Kroos, everytime I score with him I indulge in the very nerdy shout of "kroos (cruise) missle".

Animalistic on Career Mode, I've played one season with Saints on Legendary and he scored 33 goals 16 assists, not decided to dish out for him on UT yet but probably will at some stage.

Oh Naldo... Fifa 12 he was the absolute daddy, not used him on yet on Fifa 13.

Huge, ridiculously quick for his size, absolutely unbeatable in the air, and he also has an absolute rocket free-kick on him. I once won a game 6-0 where he scored 4 goals, 3 headers from corners, then one from a 35 yard Roberto-Carlos style free-kick.
