Given we are this seasons draw specialists along with Sunderland and have had a dissapointing start to the season where do you realistocally think we ca finish? If you look at how the seasons going for other teams like West Ham, West Brom , Fulham and Everton and the fact Liverpool are improving 8th is going to be hard never mind top 6 again.

I know this seems negative, however we have got european games to worry about. I know some people thought about top 4 this season but I never did so I'll be happy with top half so don't think I'm being a misery gutts.

What I am going to be dissapointed about is the fact we could have added 3 or 4 players and been a real force in the league again and we didn't aspire to build on what was a miracle season.

    where will be end up?

    8th - 12th

Liverpool are improving???? Based on what? They barely beat the worst team in the league in their own backyard. Look at their next few results and that will tell you if they are improving or not. 7th for us this year IMO

    Next 6 games are crucial
    WBA (H)
    Liverpool (A)
    West Ham (H)
    Swansea (H)
    Southampton (A)
    Stoke (A)

If we fail to get at least 10 points from those, then we will not finish near the top 6 IMO

It's too early to tell for me, we need some perspective when discussing this season's expectations/ambitions. Yes we've only won twice out of eight games, we've also only lost twice.

Add to that the fact that we've only been able to play our strongest 11 only once, possibly twice and also that we've already played Man Utd, Spurs, Chelsea (away) & Everton (away) and you'd have to say we've almost certainly played four of the top seven/eight teams in the league.

A win in Europe mid week and a victory over WBA a week today, and with our strongest 11 (minus Tiote) being available and I'd give our start a 6 and half out of ten. We are probably 3 points off of having a good start but also only 3 points off of making a poor start.

It's far too early to say if top six is achievable, this will depend on how we go in Europe and the FA Cup. Another 6 league game's and we'll almost certainly have some idea of whether we're going to finish in the top third of the league or the middle third.

hhhhhhhmmmmmmmm you would hope we could take at least that but at this rate we just need a win and fast.

West Brom are better than us so far this season so I wouldn't say it's an easy game at all and away at Liverpool will be very difficult. I guess I'm jumping on the negative tarin a little to fast but if we lose the next two I'm just going to **** this season off and start thinking about winning the europa league.

Far too early to judge. Our performance today was good. We were solid in defence and were unlucky not to win. The fact that we stayed in the game with 10 men is commendable

Especially as Sunderland were playing with 12 men!
