At 2-0 up or down,in injury time,i leave to avoid the crush. And that shuffling along the walkway business !
You cant compare cinema with city. I've left three films before the end on the basis that they were garbage, if I applied that to city then i'd have missed large chunks of the 80s and 90s
people dont always leave completely, they just watch the last few minutes from the stairs or the exit.. i do it a few times at away games if i need to be back in hull asap, its amazing leaving the ground that 2/3 minutes earlier it saves you from fighting your way down at the end, can make a massive difference , beat the majority of the traffic hitting the road and you can be back in hull 20/30 minutes earlier..
On a similar theme, unless you're getting your end away as a result you don't go to the cinema in the first place to see a series of films if you think the first one was **** so you wouldn't have missed huge chunks, you'd have missed all of that time.
They were three unrelated films over a period of about twenty years...and only one of them resulted in getting my end away
IF people wanna leave before the end and miss the winning goal, when they have paid for the full 90 mins... That is THEIR prerogative so shut your whinging gob!... ya puff!
I walk home from City, therefore traffic doesn't matter to me and I always stay behind and clap all the players off and then leave, I prefer doing this and seeing all the players celebrating together at the end and showing their appreciation to the fans who bothered to stay til the end. Leaving early is just a bit stupid I think, if you go to football you may as well go and stay because I don't think getting slightly ahead of the traffic is going to make too much of a difference to anyone. Ooooo 10/15 minutes, I'd rather just stay til the end.
If people want to arrive late and leave early that is upto them. Just dont moan about it. I bet some say what they miss can been seen on the tv later.
