So Larsson's chest high kick and Shola should have been a red yeah? I certainly thought it should have.

I don't want to see him in the shirt ever again!!!! I can tell he isn't trying to get the ball but in this game doing it shows he's a complete tosser.

The Mackems got away with that result. They were handed the draw and did barely anything to warrant it, no chances, no creativity and a whole bunch of dodgy decisions helped them get that result.

    I agree

On some days thats a yellow but in a derby it will get a red

The fatc is the ****ing ref should have blown before Tiote lost his head - I think he didn't hear the whistle and lost his head a bit.

That Tiote tackle is being grossly exaggerated by pundits who can't tell their arse from their face (saying that, neither can we having to look at those ugly halfwits)... They literally started making **** up to back up their initial over-reaction... 3ft off the floor??? Nice observation Ray... Would have broken his leg if it had been planted Niall??? Yeah ok, maybe that's why he went for the tackle, because his leg wasn't planted? Barely a millisecond after the ref had blown as well, so you can hardly say it was unnecessary GBH. That is a yellow all day long, and the ref + assistant refs have had an absolute shocker there, and if it doesn't get looked at by the powers that be and changed, it's ridiculous.

Overall, think Sunderland were piss poor all over the park, as evidenced by the fact we were creating chances with 1 vs 4 upfront. I really fear for them, and if they are celebrating this as a home point then they are being quite short-sighted to be honest. They are in big trouble if they can't up their game from there, and that's with what I see as a guaranteed 4 really really poor teams in this division who should be scrapping for relegation below them.

On our players, Cabaye + Ba + Colo + Willo + Ben Arfa + Perch were immense today, Santon a bit unlucky perhaps and the rest were alright. Agree with the Obertan comments, he's come on with two minutes to go and looked more knackered than the others. Slightly disappointed we didn't hold on, their players weren't going to score if they had an extra hour after everyone had gone home, so it's gutting we did it for them, but I could see a draw and will take the away point with 10 men after such a stinker of a decision.

**** Sunderland we know wew are a better side but I'm getting worried we are this seasons draw specialists.

We should be beating the smaller clubs and getting what we caan from the top 8 and at the moment were doing neither!!!! every week it's a different reason or excuse.

Sunderland are the worst side we have played this season.

They will be celebrating because if Ba hadn't got them a goal, they would be forced to admit that on their home ground and against their biggest rivals they could not make their one man advantage, which they had for most of the match, count.

I am gutted we didn't hold on for the win, but I know which team I am glad to be supporting today! I would be embarrassed if it had been the other way around and we couldn't have beaten a 10 man Sunderland at SJP.

Edit: re- reading my comment, think this probably applies anyway :emoticon-0111-blush

Based on today, absolutely agree with that. I think if the ref had made the right call on Tiote, it wouldn't have been close. They can't have Martin Atkinson starting upfront every match.

Until today Atromitos were the worst side we've played this season. If I was a Mackem i'd be seriously worried about the season ahead. We were the better side even when we went down to 10 men.

Didn't we fail to beat them last year at ours when they had 10?

Other than that, agree with your post <ok>
Once the euphoria of that last-minute goal has ebbed away, they won't be left with much.

I think Ba was fouled in on goal at 1-0.

They won't go down with Fletcher, AJ, Sessegnon but they certainly seem to be a side devoid of any creativity. Sessegnon doesnt look half the player he did last season. Fletcher got shown for being the average player he is today.

With eleven men we would have taken the three points. Sunderland are piss poor.

I don't usually say this but Pardew ****ed up when he bottled it and took Colo and Ben Arfa off.

Ben Arfa really grafted and Colo was the calm at the back.

    Obertan was a disgrace

He was clearly thinking about the next games but I think it was an error

To be fair Colo had a slight knock and Benny was shattered after running rings round the Sunderland midfield
