And yet in spite of that I don't hear many Club Chairmen calling for one of English football's largest away followings to be banned from their ground as it would hit them where it truly hurts - in the pocket.
Let's face it, far from dreading big, bad Leeds United rolling into town, they relish it for the extra income it brings.

There's not one club that would rather play say a Barnsley or a Peterborough than a Leeds United - and that's how it will remain.

At the end of the day cash is king, and always will be

    ????

    As in sexually? No thanks.

But he was outed within one minute on twitter and is fully known and will be on the run, despite his facebook status claiming he got home fine. Don't believe that, he is in hiding

I'm sorry but if we score a goal I don't tend to watch the opposition goalkeeper so wouldn't have seen what happened never mind know which fan did it, 99% of the away end wouldn't have realised what went on so how they are meant to find Aaron Cawley n give him up I'll never know

Hope they get all involved, in fairness although the spotlight is on the twat that hit the keeper there were probably 20 fans in total that deserve punishment of some kind. Enough to spoil it but still a small minority, that's the thing though isn't it... The guy that whacked the keeper would have went to the game with a dozen or more mates, in a gang they are brave, get him on his own and I bet he is a **** bag.

Do you actually go to games boab? Because I go to all home and most away and I can tell you I haven't heard racist abuse in years. All clubs have issues with minority of fans. Arsenal with homophobic chants, Rangers and Celtic with sectarianism, Millwall (ripping up Hull's stadium, Turkish chants), Burnley (one of their fans killed a Forest fan), Liverpool (Hersel, Munich chants), Sunderland (one of their fans attacking Steve Harper), West Ham (stabbed a Millwall fan) ect ect. We could go through every single club and 99% of the time we'd find a minority of fans embarrassing the entire club. We (Leeds) aren't angels (Ipswich match, clashes with Millwall, Munich singing, Chris Kirkland) but for other fans to demonize us is simply wrong and hypocritical.

Read through the thread and looked at all the comments from all of you and come to the conclusion that there are two self righteous pricks on here BOAB and SHELDON, all statements you make, all what you say in your eyes is cast in stone, i suggest you get a soap box and **** off to Hyde Park, maybe some idiot(s) may listen to you there, but i very much doubt it.

So easy to make throwaway comments isn't it? "I can honestly say.." "Leeds are the most.." "clearly a larger percentage.." "culture of violence".. easiest thing in the world. And carries no weight at all. We're not interested in your twopence halfpenny opinions of Leeds. If you were intelligent enough to discern the innocent from the guilty, you'd have a place in the discussion on our boards. Since you aren't, feel free to jog on home.

Hull fans being here is doubly amusing. You just won a match and you'd still rather be here bitching about something you weren't there for and know nothing about.

You can't argue with that - at least £50k extra income from the extra Leeds fans why would other clubs wat to turn that away - even when they have to pay £80k extra in police costs <laugh>

No we don't. What an utterly foolish thing to say. Football is tribal, fans sing for their team and give the opposition no quarter. 'If it ain't from Yorkshire it's ****e' has been a motto in our city for years, and no hysterical Scotsman can change that. Racist - don't make me laugh. There hasn't been en masse racist chanting for years.

Hope we take 5,000 to every game this season and create an atmosphere like we did last night.

Spot on. Leeds United would be **** all - just another Derby or Forest in size and scope - if our fans didn't make us so special and different from the other docile ****wits who populate English football stadiums.
