Well we've got a good away following hopefully we will be the 12th man and get the lads over the line with 3 points, lets just hope Bolton don't kick start there season against us as most teams like too
It seems according to those commenting on OTIB that Fontaine has been put in at LB. Anyone see a car crash coming if he is up against Eagles???? Chances of a clean sheet seem pretty slim if Del has indeed put Fonts up against their best player.
Mr undroppable, I would have dropped woolford for Anderson.i would have played m Wilson and drop Fontaine he needs a rest, needs to raise his game. Glad to see Carey and mamanus in the middle, by far the best two central defenders at the club.
I agree on Carey - can't understand why people don't rate him as I think he has been immense for BCFC. 1-0 wayhayyy!!!!
Looks like another season battling against relegation then. SL stumped up the money for DM but yet again it looks like we've wasted it. No good scoring goals if you let more in every week. You can only put the blame for this at Del's door. He set the priorities for new players and we are getting weaker rather than stronger as a "team" when it comes to keeping the ball and stopping the opposition walking over us. I'm fed up with being easy pickings for the rest of the ccc...!
Got to say it ain't looking to good for city,I think questions needs asking simply how we started is not anywhere near where we are now. Del is the gaffer and the buck stops there.
McManus looked solid, woolford you wouldn't of known was there, our goals were probably our only decent chances
Del does not seem to drop players when their form dips or drops,he seems very very loyal to certain players.
Still on the coach mate, on my phone, didn't think I would be able to have connection but its working In Birmingham
Couldn't see where I was from but our lads started a bit in the corner to the right of me, then there was a bit of trouble after the game outside the stadium, seen about 15 police cars and vans head past us but don't know if that was our lot?
From where i was sitting, there was a minor surge of City fans to my right and lower down -20 to 30, towards the Bolton fans in last 15 minutes. Not aware that anything overtly hostile, or what had triggered it. But in last 10 minutes many of the City fans were watching what had transpired rather than the game. Certainly our chanting and singing was good banter not particularly confrontational and Bolton fans couldn't be heard until they scored their scored their goals. "Didn't know that you were here" responded City fans. No problems I was aware of when leaving the ground, though outside the Reebok, there was some disruption, and a number of police cars turned up, but like Shiny wasn't aware if our lot were involved. However took ages to drive away from the Reebok, and only caught the boat home from Liverpool with 5 minutes to spare. Comments about the game- defensively we did look very vulnerable- Bolton seemed to have an ability to build up their attacks methodically with many options available. I'm afraid City too often took route 1- we didn't try to play our way through. Again ball retension was a problems-cannot remember more that half a dozen examples of us putting more that 5 passes together, and when we did the ball went back to Heaton, who had no other option but to hit it long, and we lose possession. We didn't have enough players backing up the man with the ball. Starts from the back where Heaton nearly always hit the ball long- what happened to building from the back. which Bolton were able to do. We had the run of the ball to go 2-0 up, but never looked comfortable and in control. Am I being too critical-
