The prick should get jailed and the one who got him the ticket should be banned for life. The same goes for the other ones who were just behind the goal
Look forward to the court case, I'm sure who gave him tickets will be stated and further media interest will follow. There will be a few people **** scared tonight around the Leeds supporters.
I've been a Leeds fan since America was in Viet Nam. This guy made me ashamed and embarrassed tonight, I hope he and his encouraging mates behind the goal are made an example of and put away, like I would if they were associated with Millwall or any other team - they can't call themselves fans. Dave Jones clearly has an alternative agenda, his sole motivation was to divert attention. Moral high ground? Don't think so.
leeds fans have a rep for being morons since the early 70s, obviously most are great but still the minority fk up a gr8 club, you have to wonder why
It was disgusting behaviour, truly vile but I take solace from that fact that you are united against this idiot and even attempting to turn him in yourselves. Fair play lads. There were a number if idiots behind him that we're kicking the **** out of advertising boards and the goal who should also be banned.
All those involved who can be identified will receive bans. LUFC meters out more bans than any other club and will continue to do so. But bans clearly mean nothing. The guy that got Kirkland already has a life ban. Maybe that's why it doesn't matter to him. If it was a 3-year ban as long as he did not breach it, maybe he would have had a model 3 years and it would sort him out. But the life ban means he has no redemption anyway, so there is little reason in his own head to prevent himself from trying to get in. And bans are clearly unworkable. I wonder how many of those people involved already have a ban. When we brought in the old membership scheme, we had stewards who properly checked the membership cards against the person coming into a ground. It rarely happens properly now, especially if there is a crowd of 5000. We will need to bring back our own stewarding of our fans. Or maybe Bates will ban our own fans from away or choose to have very small allocations, because he gets little out of it financially-wise.
This little ****er's favourite quote on facebook is "Favourite Quotes. Harry Roberts is our friend, is our friend, is our friend. Harry Roberts is our friend, he kills coppers. Let him out to kill some more, kill some more, kill some more, let him out to kill some more, Harry Roberts" This little ****er wasn't even alive at the time. And this hasn't been sung since the 80s. He has been taught this by others, possibly his parents. ****ing scummy little ****, just as scummy as those on here who call the police "the filth".
Maybe so Chesh, but in the meantime we are all tarred as the same, so we have to do something. For example, the racist chanting in Serbia. Is that a football or society problem? Football is merely the medium that allows these people to show openly their attitudes in a confrontational and carefree way. But the immediate reaction is to stop playing football with Serbia, rather than making them as a total society a complete pariah. So the solution is to take away the medium until they can prove they are better. I shudder to think what the authorities would have decided if they had had the chance to make their decision last night. I still shudder to thnk what the final punishment will be when they choose to make their judgment.
Agree with this, its his mates getting him into the grounds so they should also be punished when he does **** like this.
How about making the nutter report to a police station every time there are league games....for at least 10 years.
So what will be the punishment for LUFC? What was thepunishment for Carlisle FC when their fans assaulted our players in the JPT? What was the punishment for Millwall FC when their fans assaulted our goalkeeper? Bot these incidents were live on tv too if I remember correct. I'm convinced our punishment will be a lot worse than the non-punishment these clubs got, for whatever reason, despite the club having done everything it can to prevent these things from happening/these people from getting tickets/membership. I might do a poll on the variousdifferent options for punishment
In two recent incidents were a 'supporter' ran on the pitch and attacked either a player or manager, the club to whom the idiot allegedly was 'supporting' were not fined or given any punishment. Celtic escaped punishment when a Celtic 'supporter' hit the AC Milan keeper during the C.L. and Hearts escaped punishment when a supporter attacked Neil Lennon. It could be the Football League will see things differently, but I understand it is up to the referee and basically boils down to his report. The ****er who carried out the attack, will of course feel the full force of both the law and the actions of the club, as well as the public.
