I notice the reasons for supporting your club question didn't have an option of something like... because you support the club of the city you were born and raised in..! That would be too old fashioned and purist,
In the reasons for supporting your team, there was something about where you lived at the time. My son wanted to see PL football, nearest club was SFC, so locality was the reason I started to support them. I guess being from Southampton would be the same box.
Whoops...vastly underestimated distance from Newport to SMS.....google says 19 miles. I thought it was less than 10 miles!!
Yes, that question was on the page afterwards, IIRC. It doesn't have the same emotional connection though, does it..? To me it suggests that in order to see Premier League football one simply picks the nearest club. But that merely dilutes the local club connection and is not the real reason why most people started out to support their club. Of course, that is a statistic that the Premier League would be uninterested to know. For me, the least important element in the whole survey is the Premier League.
I got a few questions in, at which point it asked if you had attended any Premier Lague matches in the last 12 months, which I haven't as I haven't been able to get to any games so far this season but am hoping to make the Spurs game my first, and it promptly booted me out! Ah well.
Haha it definitely seems like it and unfortunately I have been caught in that net! I almost feel like I'm missing out... I hope there weren't any questions of quality of pies because I have plenty of opinions to put forward on that subject.
Most questionnaires are poorly designed and therefore do not allow much scope. All it will be used for is by the media to say look 64% of fans think Premier League tickets are too expensive or some other facile general-ism.
That took ages. And I put my preferred playing style as "Long Ball" because the horrible phrase "Tika Taka" offends me. In other words, I lied.
It should open a pop-up window seperately which you do the survey in. If you have any ad/pop-up blockers that may be stopping it and you need to disable them.
Must admit, I nearly chose Counter-Attacking, as my preferred choice, because of that very reason. Besides, I like a bit of counter-attacking, especially in an Away game situation.
