You know what, MC could well help secure North Ferribys promotion to the Blue Square League Northern section if he went there. More games than City reserves will play for starters.
Not really the case though is it.? Look how Barmby treated Simpson and Olifinjana last season ? New manager has different ideas on players. IMO, Cullen needs coaching properly.
Cullen has had plenty of opportunity to shine and he has not; what comes now is a bonus and it's up to him to make it happen. Good luck to him but other fish in the sea; fish that just might score goals.
That's a bit harsh - I had to go to "Great" Grimsby last weekend. I wouldn't wish that on anyone (apart from someone who lives in Stoke)
They're already in it, it's the Blue Square North they would go into. As for Cullen, unfortunately he doesn't have the quality. He's quick, which is fine, but he just isn't big enough for the Championship. He has age on his side, sure, but he'd be better off going somewhere like York or Burton and working his way up. He's probably too good to play any lower than BSP, he'd take the piss if he moved to Ferriby.
I would agree. So the choice may well boil down to Hull City reserves or help North Ferriby gain promotion. At least Cullen would have a chance of a medal and silverware @ NFU.
Yes i know. Corrected my error now. But Cullen @ Ferriby would help them and may also help him get a better club higher up. Short term success maybe ? Sometimes footballers have to drop back down to go back up.
If we wanted to help him find another club, we'd have left him at Bury, the last place you want to be if you need a new deal is playing non-league.
he will go north east before he plays for ferriby. there are plenty of better and more appropriate options in the Northern League, even gateshead could be a good move for him if he could stomach the loss of salary
When he was making his first few appearances I thought the lad had promise and we'd found a little threat there. Unfortunately for both him and the Club, it just hasn't worked out for the lad, and IMO, City didn't allow him enough first team opportunities and didn't send him out on loan therefore not learning his trade properly. The best thing for him to do is to move down to League 2 level, maybe the Bradfordians or someone like that, and attempt to resurrect his career.
Maybe there's another loan set up where he'll play. Thing is, he joined on a season long (or at least half season) loan, so he can't play for our first team or another league club until January anyway as those loans can only be ended during a transfer window. (think Cooper last season)
