Why on earth have we recalled Cullen from Bury?

If we're reverting to 4-4-2 we only have Elmo and Quinn to play out wide, so we may need Aluko to cover that position at some point, along with McLean - if Fryatt needs an op then that leaves only Simmo and Proschwitz.

I still can't see Cullen ever getting a game - it's just the only explanation I can possibly think of.

If it's cover for Fryatt, I don't understand why they didn't just wait until Monday to see what happens, as Fryatt's due to train tomorrow to see if it flares up again.

Think we need a caption for the photo.

"I was only offside by that much" would be about right.

Looks like Cullen might be the new Bradshaw the way he's going, shame for the lad but he was given a chance by Pearson to progress and didn't deliver.

to be fair, I actually had the opportunity to speak to Nigel Pearson about Mark Cullen on a one-to-one basis, and he really rated him. In spite of my personal opinion that i think Mark could be a class striker, i fear that after this 'last chance saloon', his days are numbered in professional football for the time being. i think he will turn up next season at somewhere like gateshead, ashington or even spennymoor in the northern league, where he will undoubtedly score goals for fun again.

Most games. He scored one in twelve appearances, though half of those appearances were coming off the bench.

But you'd think if he wanted to have a look at Cullen he'd just have him watched or watch him personally at Bury where he's going to play games. Weird.

It is, he's picked up a shin injury so he's been sent back to us to have it assessed.

Cullen was generally on the bench and Blackwell has just brought in two more players from TWS.

Certainly in Barmby's time in charge he said he would recall loan players that wern't getting game time. Maybe SB thinks the same way.

We've recalled him, he's not going back, I've not heard any suggestion of an injury.

The two lads up front for the reserves last night were as good as Cullan.
Only offside a couple of times!

Anyone know wht deVitt was subbed?Saving him for Saturday?

Any techies out there know what the monitors are that some of the lads were wearing at the top of their backs. What do they measure?

Cullen is Conference standard for me, never seen anything from him to suggest otherwise.

I agree, yet another loan spell where he hasn't been given the opportunity to score at League 1 or 2 level. If he was good enough, Blackwell would have played him
