I have to hand it to you Dev, your posts got some great replies, pity about that lonesome cowboy Trevor. Its same old,
same old once anyone has a good post going one of them half witted ones come on and attempt to destroy and
break up the good arguments. If only we could liquidate them with the bastard club.

Praise where praise is due Dev, these bloody Internationals had destroyed the input here, until you came up
    with a whopper.

Who did I lash out at and call "the enemies of Celtic" then?

That is correct, no one. I complained that Neil Lennon was being demonised by the media and last I checked Neil Lennon is not Celtic FC, and saying that someone is being "demonised" is not accusing the media of being enemies.

When you are in a hole you'd best stop digging Nev.

Scottish football fan first, Celtic fan next.

First real memories of Celtic is watching them lose to Aberdeen on P/K's. (Why oh why did you have to take one Mr Rogan)

I watched that game as a neutral, going to primary school in a Dundee Utd dominated neighborhood, it was more a case of follow Utd or have no mates. So like every other sheep, i followed Utd all through the late 80's. Watched the Cup final above, at my grans and been a Celtic fan ever since. Kinda the wrong time to become a 'Tim', Rangers dominated my first 10 or so years as a Celtic fan.

Regularly get up at 4am to watch the games on some internet stream, but will definitely miss the building anticipation leading up to O/F games.

Celtic don't mean as much to me now as they did 10 years ago, moving to the states allowed me to become more selective in how involved i wanted to be with my passion for Celtic.

Nothing better being on holiday sitting at the pool reading a good Celtic book , saved Chris Sutton book up for my fortnight away , it's that good the tanned bikini woman were forgotten as Chris recalled the route to Seville . My favourite bit was his favourite all time ten top games in his career 9 of them were Celtic European games ,.

you would think BDO would be very interested to learn that something he paid 5 million for is suddenly worth 80.

    Well, it depends.

Much like a closing down sale at say JJB, a pair of Adidas tango might've sold for £80, but during the closing down sale, they administrators sell them for £10 just to get in money. The same happened at Rangers. These IP/Administrators are all as bent as ****, anyone pretending that this is a noble trade is fooling themselves. I'll be pushing my kids to get into this line of business, it's a licence to print money. I was talking to a guy from ZolfoCooper last week and he was telling me about how they work, it's ****ing frightening what they get away with...

Also, I don't believe for one minute that Ibrox and Muzza Park is worth £80m, I suspect that Greeny doesn't either, he was merely saying that an auditor told them that it was worth that.

    Good analogy.

Although the point is that there were at least 4 bidders willing to pay more than the £5.5m. 2 of them 4 times as much but those bids were neither acknowledged nor entertained.

JJB wouldn't be giving me those Adidas Tangos for £5 if Wedgey is stood in the queue with a £20 note.

But then it depends on the T&C's associated with the bids. We're moving into the realms of whatiferry and I don't know anything about the other bids so can't comment.

Ok Nev let's take this one step at a time for the sake of simplicity.

Let's assume Neil Lennon = Celtic. Did I at any time suggest that the Media were "Enemies" of Celtic?

I think we all know the answer. <laugh>

Fair enough. As I understand it the T&C's of the other bids are irrelevant as they were neither acknowledged nor entertained. The point isn't even what those bids were, it is that they were not even considered.

Green got in the box seat to buy the assets from Rangers. He stayed in the box seat. Despite other (better) bids for those assets being in play.

There are questions to be answered about that.

Also, what value has Green added to those assets? I would suggest not a whole lot. So if every ****, including Green, is putting a value of multiples of what his consortium paid then it seems strange that D&P would agree a sale of a stadium and training complex for about £2.5m.

Russ it worries me even more that you get fired up more for an attack on Lennon rather than the club you are so proud to support. Do you wuv him? <smooch>

I never said it was an attack on Lennon, I said he was being demonised by the press who had previously admitted they had gone overboard in their criticism and were at that time back on the villification track.

You must have listened to it about 100 times by now, you surely remember exactly what point I was making?

I can remember it clearly listening to you on Real Radio, whilst I was lying back on my private jet heading off to shoot another porno movie with Pixie Lott. Even she had to take a break from licking my balls to laugh at the beel.

In fact, it was she who came up with the brutal quip "feel the beel".

You see, there is nothing wrong with my memory, that is why I decided to comment on this thread about Sir McCoist
