Dunno what your coaching staff was up to if he was fat and flapped about a lot - he doesn't have a belly nor pisses about here. Whatever else you can say about Warnock (and there is a lot) he and his coaches run a tight ship - he wouldn't tolerate Kenny being fat as all of his other managers seemed to do.
Do you say its our coaching staff or would you say it was unprofessional? Just like refusing to drive to training and demanding a chauffeur.
There's been loads of posts on our board from your lot about Fryatt and Hobbs, often on threads that were remarkably similar to this one. Ironically, most of them were about how Mills was in a different class to Hobbs. Though those sort of posts didn't carry on all that long for some reason.
Maybe he was a bigheaded showoff when he was with you but he isn't now with us - must have learnt from the experience and grown up if what you say is true. Regardless it is history - who cares now?
1. That isn't what you wrote. 2. Dunno anything about the place - am guessing it is multi cultural so it justifies anything you type? You are using the "my best friend is black so I'm not racist" argument.
I highly doubt Nigel would accept Kasper showing any of the sort of arrogance that's been mentioned on here. From the outside looking in he's a good professional. There is no doubt in my mind that he's a top keeper in the Championship or that he's got a good career ahead of him at the top level. Whether that's at somewhere like Real Madrid I'm not so sure. He is still very young for a keeper at 25. From what I've seen of him, he has all the attributes of a good keeper. Shot stopping is excellent; handling his good; he's our vice-captain and a leader on the pitch; very vocal. A couple of things I'd like to see him improve on would be that his decision making in terms of when to come for a cross can be faulty and his distribution is hit and miss. But they're both things that can be solved with time, experience and hard work - the potential is clearly there. What I don't understand is why the Leeds fans initially told us we weren't qualified to judge him when we signed him and then when we have seen him more than you have, why you can't accept the judgement of the overwhelming majority that he's improved significantally and become a very good goalkeeper? Football is full of exaxmples of players who don't do well at one club then do better somewhere else (Forlan, Rossi, Shevchenko, Torres, Carroll etc. co-incidentally all strikers but the point still stands). Smaller maybe but better
I'd still say that Mills is a better defender than Hobbs. Shame that Mills is a money grabbing, egoistic ****
Haha I just read the title of this thread, and knew it would descend in to this. It's just bored paper talk while there is no real football on, it clearly isn't going to happen, nor do we think it actually will, nor are we saying that Schmeichel is better than Casillas. Leeds thought he was rubbish, and I can't possibly comment on that as I never saw him play for Leeds. We bought him, he got player of the season in his first season for us, we love him, the end. Funny old game, football!
YWBK, going slightly off topic... I had an idea for a movie, where a retired CIA agent searches for his kidnapped daughter in Paris, but it turns out that idea was taken. I then had another idea for one where the same agent is kidnapped with his wife in Istanbul, but it turns out that one was taken two.
If I wasn't WUM of the year here I would still have that Sig Taken 2 isn't as good as the first, element of suprise is gone but still decent
Last game of the season against you some Leeds supporting kids waited outside the ground to get Kasper's signature. He got one of his mates to drive round and went straight into the car, ignoring all those kids.
