Let's face it, this is the reason Leeds fans dislike Kasper, that and the fact he left them for us. It has nothing to do with ability, as Proud said, he's played more for us than anyone so we should know! So what if his old man is an Old Trafford legend? Get over it. I was at that game and everyone around me was distracted by him when he came on the pitch as we all heard of this massive Aussie called "Spider Kalac" that we had and it was the first time many of us saw him standing up as he spent the entire season on the bench - I must have been the only person in my stand that actually saw Claridge's winning goal!
Grayson and Bates wanted him ****ed off, along with many of the fans. It was him who wanted to stay at Leeds. So I can't comprehend why there'd be any jealousy or bitterness whatsoever about the fact he left us for a smaller, less significant club. People who don't know about football usually blame goalkeepers for conceding when it's really the defense's fault. Maybe that's why you lot don't rate him.
No I dont rate hime, because he's not a good goalkeeper. Since he's left, we still have conceded goals, and both keepers are far better than him. Diving five second after the ball has hit the back of the net, so it looks good on telly, isnt good goalkeeping. Like I say, he must of improved hugely, because he was rubbish
Every single post about him from Leeds fans on our board contradict your view - we don't go on other teams boards to talk about our old players as we don't give a **** when they move while you all do about Kasper for some reason. He hasn't been you player for over a season, you have a keeper you are really happy with so why do you care? I don't give a **** about his time at Leeds - I only care about him while he is here and if he leaves I will care for about a day before forgetting about him and supporting his replacement. If this is true, massive mistake all round. Well done. We may be marginally smaller, but we have won more than you in the last fifteen years and we're more ambitious than you right now too, so we're certainly not "less significant". You may not be talking about his abilities, but no end of your fellow Leeds fans spend the majority of last season telling us how ****e he was as he went on to win player of the season... We have rivals, but we're not stupid enough to miss the opportunity to sign their best players. Wes Morgan is a Forest fan - who cares as long as he remains outstanding for us? Oh, we all have sympathy for you. And you need it. In seriousness, I don't hate Leeds but I certainly understand why people do. The fans are often arrogant without really earning the right. But at least it's a club with a decent fanbase without too many glory supporters (although I did know quite a few from South Yorkshire, I guess they count).
When a ball is crossed in and hangs in the air just about 5 feet out I know a goalkeeper should come and collect it!
Kasper is usually very commanding of his box to the point of bulldozing his own players. Perhaps he was scared of doing that to the bunch of thugs you had playing for you?
Kasper used to make easy saves looked difficult and couldn't stop the difficult saves. Commanding of his area was **** and his distribution although great for the first 9 games was **** the rest of the season.
