I haven't played Fifa in over a week now. Very disappointed with Fifa 13.

 

Any you lads fancy a derby, I'm in the UK for 3 months from later today so will reactivate my live.

Had some cracking games against the lad 5-1 (don't think he posts anymore..), will be active probs Tuesday, I'm writing Monday off.

I celebrated the release of FIFA13 by buying FIFA12 for a fiver from the local GamezXpress (or whatever). I took the time to faff around with the port forwarding and now it actually works.

Shame I then remembered the reason why I'd originally gotten bored enough to sell, as I would only enjoy being 4* teams or less and found that within that category there's only one team worth being.

 

please tell me everyone else is having fifa server issues. i havent been able to get near FUT for 48 hours. its starting to really annoy me as i dont bother playing anything else but fifa now in order to reduce the rage levels that Battlefield used to inflict on my life. now this is worse than anything battlefield did.

I stopped playing Fifa for a bit because I found it frustrating. My technical style of build up that I used on Fifa 12 is too annoying to
try and play. I can still do it quite well, but I'm sick of of the first touch **** messing up some good bits of play that I made.
I can play a 30 yard quick pass and a player will take it first time superbly, then I'll play a 5 yard soft pass and a player will
make a ridiculously **** touch and ruin the move.

I've found a new strategy. I play with two big men up front, I win most knock downs so I can control possession, and also when I'm finished
defending an opposition attack, I can knock it long straight away and catch my opponent in a 4v3 situation, as I often win the first header which I can aim
for another attacking player, and instantly I'm threatening them.

I also love making my own custom set plays. No, not them ****ty ones where two players run over the ball and you smack it. I mean
the ones you make in the set piece editor. I love making new custom ones and my opponent not knowing wtf is happening lol.

Reina's first time kicks and ability to find players is excellent.

Anita and Tiote are immense together in the DM positions. Anita harasses the opposition so well with his pace.

Dempsey is class, but Michu is awesome. Despite only being a 75, his positioing is awesome and his heading is great. I usually
bring Dempsey on late.

I don't think Fellaini is worth the price he is.

Valencia and Jarvis both quick and great crossers. Kenny and Carroll both great in the air.

 

Just tried my first game of Fifa 13 online, had some bug where I couldn't see the ball at all throughout the match. Somehow still managed to win 1-0

Weirdly I suspect the other guy could see the ball as he was all over me at the start.

 

Halo 4 tomorrow bitches. Been waiting 5 years.

 

I'm giving up cocaine at the moment and am thinking of buying a games console

any advice on a gun game and a console? new to it all noting too hard

 

If you're just looking for a good price console and some fun gun games, definitely get the xbox 360. It's cheaper than PS3. Also get Xbox Live. It's 40 quid a year, but it's extremely worth it bro.

However, if you're just looking to **** about offline, get Gears of War 3. You chainsaw the **** out of Aliens, it's amazing.
