According to official sources, the Premier League are going to reward clubs who bring through local talent....that has got to be a good move, and should help our club,as we bring thro' plenty of local lads, such as Colback.Home-grown talent is the answer for the future, and I feel that our club can deliver !!
I'm not so confident, don't think we have ever brought anything through than a few average premiership players, imo
No I disagree that hes a class act. He's out of his depth at Liverpool, can't cross, head, finish, tackle and again is an average premiership player, at best
Kids playing football today is totally different than when I was a kid. In my day you played in the street nowadays there are too many cars and kids don't play out as much. We used to have impromptu games in the park. No adults needed. Could be 15 to 20 aside. You just never see this these days. School football. That was the team I played for my school. You didn't get other teams. They don't seem to have school football anymore. These days it all has to be paid for for the kids to play football and I find it very sad.
Don't think its the footballers. I think the coaching needs to be reviewed. Its run here, run there, turn here, bend there. Give the lads the effing ball and let them pass, dribble, shoot etc. We need a few mavericks (Rodney Marsh, Tony Currie) who can play alone and as a team player.
good man! free advertising. last Friday I went out... it was bastard cold and the lasses were in their micro skirts yet again. only £1.80 a pint for Smiths or Carlsberg at spoons too. get yourself up and bring spare blobs.
Don't use em marra. It's like having a bath with your socks on. Consett bird's not that ****ed about it either.
think you need a night out at the African night in Cafe Amsterdam, there motto is bring ya boots, and all you can fill, most are obliging.
