Interesting article about the dying long-ball game in the Guardian just re-inforcing what we already know. Nice to get a mention too. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2012/oct/12/england-st-georges-santi-cazorla Although annoying that they felt the need to say this: Not sure how things can be going "awry" so soon...
There was a thread put up a little while ago where "the realist" said our possession was`nt as good as last season. I can`t be bothered to look for it, so thought I`d post this here. I know it`s early in the season with a long way to go, but found this and thought it might interest a few. http://www.talksport.co.uk/magazine/features/121013/premier-leagues-possession-table-find-out-where-your-club-ranks-182989?p=19 Stats don`t lie, but the interpretation of them certainly can!! Now if only ML would widen the field a bit we might do a lot better?
Sorry if its already been posted up but you may want to take a look at this quite interesting stat... http://m.talksport.co.uk/magazine/f...le-find-out-where-your-club-ranks-182989?p=19 And people said our possession game was dead
Lot of discontent developing over Laudrup! the rumour mill is gaining momentum, player discontent, Chairman's media denials, and then there is Ashley Williams! The plot thickens, myself I don't see what the hell all this fuss is about, did Dai start it off!..
No discontent from me. If it's to be a question of Ashley Williams or Michael Laudrup it's bye bye Williams for me.
just hope we can get a result from the wigan game maybe then moods will get better all round. iff we cant then the whispers will get louder. its gonna be a tougher season than last imo but i think we have the talent to get through just have to wait for that magic click to happen.
