I've just been watching some TV show about Liverpool FC, and I think it's affected me. Since we've just beaten Scotland I think we will now win the world cup.

    Croatia 0 - 7 Wales

I believe that Croatia will be far too strong for us particularly as we will be even more weakened than usual. Putting my cynic's hat on, Ramsey's tackle was so badly timed, I could almost think that he did it deliberately to avoid a hard night's work and a hammering to go with it. But I'm not going to say it. Players don't do that sort of thing do they?

My head says Croatia by at least 3-0 but I'm going to go with my heart and hope we get a 1-1 draw with Bale the hero yet again.

I think we will get another hammering, 4-1 to Croatia. The Scotland result won't do us any favours in the long term if it means Coleman stays on longer.

If we can frustrate them and keep them out for the first half I think we will have a chance of sneakin it. Us being massive underdogs going in to the game may get to their heads and start piling players forward... Bale is lethal on the counter!

The result yesterday merely delayed Coleman's exit, but a reality check will come our way against Croatia, they are a well organised unit, that can score for fun, and our back line is a mess! 3-0 Croatia...............<ok>

4-0 Croatia .I'm afraid , if it wasn't for a bit of luck Friday we could have lost that game 2-4 ,I think the Croats will be more clinical

Scotland were robbed by that perfectly legitimate second goal of theirs, truly useless decision by the linesman, who was not even in the position to make the call, and the ref should have over ruled his flag, but we will not get away with our poor finishing in front of goal with Croatia, or our poor defending either...........<ok>

Oh dear, I'm truly heartbroken, Phil. Good enough for them as far as I'm concerned. I've waited years for something like this to happen and I'm relishing it. And let's not forget the rugby tackle on Craig Davies, a nailed on penalty that was also ignored by the officials. The Scots have had their run of luck against us (remember that harsh penalty in another qualifier?) our turn was long overdue.

Is there nothing to be said for a Wales win here ? Trying to be optomistic is hard for the game coming up i know but surely theres a chance however slim ? funny old game and all that so against all reason i will go for a 2-1 wales win !

Well it's good to be optimistic swantastic, though not when wales are playing!....................<cheers>

Ivor, you sound it! but disqualifying that second goal, has now given Coleman a life line, something that in the long run, is not good for Wales in my opinion. The Coleman and Hartson road show needs derailing as soon as possible!.....................<ok>

first we had giggs and he would give us hope, then bellamy and he would give us hope, and now we have bale who is a fantastic player who again we rely on...we never seem to have a complete team in any one game and when we come up against teams like Croatia who if we were honest should at least be evenly matched with us we get well beaten.....I put it firmly down to the idiots who run welsh football and not necessary at the managers door.... The manager of wales never gets the same help as the manager of england does and thats why wales, N Ireland and scotland always struggle to get the players released for odd reasons that England manages to do...the English FA will bend over backwards to help england get a strong side..the rest of the F.A's dont do enough.....

Reading some of the posts here you'd think Wales were given a hiding by the Scots such is the optimism !!
Yes - Scotland had a goal wrongfully disallowed but Wales were the better side overall so I feel no guilt about the result.
We probably all expect Croatia to win - so what ? Should we just not bother playing the match at all ?
Croatia only beat Macedonia 2 - 1 at the weekend so they are no Germany are they ?
I think if Wales can play with the heart and hunger they showed at the weekend we have a chance. They will certainly be pwping in their shorts over Bale. They don't have anyone as good as him in their team - and that includes Modric. All the talk from the Welsh squad is about the lift and confidence the performance against Scotland has given them. So come on people stop being so negative here - stop given Croatia too much credit. They've won nothing yet.
