Kind of puts things into perspective looking at it that way. Hughes has to go before it's too late. I think we'll beat Everton but long term that might only lengthen the agony. I'd rather lose the next two and have a new manager for what remains.
Or another way to look at it, we had a worse run during last season and still stayed upNeeds to start happening soon though.
QPR may never win again, ever. We may be relegated year after year until we're demoted to pub team status. Well, it's a possibility.
i'll settle 22points first then that wins me a tenner at work, man u fan said we couldn't get them, also had a tenner with spuds fan saying we wouldn't get 44points, mm tricky that one with start we had.
With the rose tinted lenses glued on, we look like being in a relegation fight with Hughes staying much longer. I'd feel far more confident about our chances with almost anyone else.
If we can win 1 out of every 3 and get a minimum of 6 draws out of the rest that'll put us on 38 points (just enough imho). If we accept that as a minimum requirement to stay up and then hope to steal a couple of wins and a couple of draws from the remaining 15 games that will then put us on a possible 46 points and mid table obscurity which considering our dismal start would be some achievement.
I think the above debate shows how with 2 points from 7 and our dire away record this is going to be a relegation dogfight unless something fundamental happens......like winning away! If that doesn't change then we are doomed.
We are in a relegation dogfight end of. Those saying we'll finish comfortably mid-table are deluded. We have to start winning particularly against bottom-half opposition and that has to start against Reading and Southampton. If we are still winless after the Saints match we're f*cked...
This is also indicated by the fact that of the 6 of 7 PL games we have played this season against teams we also met last season, we have taken just 2 points while in the same games last season we had picked up 6 points.
