Thought it was an acceptable performance & result in a game where whatever you do is always too little, I agree that San Marino do not deserve to be in FIFA, it's ridiculous.

Off the topic, watching Columbia on TV here, ****ing hell Falcao is a player, reckon Ellis will pull out the £48million asking price?

Falcao will be regarded as the worlds best striker in the next 18 months.

No doubt about it, he is unbelievable!

Mate, I've long rated the lad but he was beyond belief at times in this game, he is an absolutely stunning footballer.

Movement incredible, ball control, ball retention, worked his noobs off, and scored 2 goals of the highest quality (finishing wise) I have seen in a while.

He does everything effortlessly, and whoever gets the lad is getting a bargain at that price.

I may have been turned a bit gay for the lad watching that game!

Would love to see Man City or Chelsea sign him, just to watch him week in, week out, would be smart.

Niall, are you putting Gomez above Messi or Ronaldo?

    Or...

    Xavi
    Iniesta
    Silva
    Ozil
    Yaya
    Aguero
    RVP
    Sneider
    Neymar

    Just as a starting list.

I could times that list by 4 or 5 at least before considering Gomez, had I not had a few Mahou's.

Now you are just being pedantic and need to stir the pot a little, best we go back to the Hesky bit. We just need another Superkev and Quinnie, then we would be in like Flyn, now how hard can that be???????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Personallt think Sah could be the Quinn to Fletchers Phillips, in a 4-4-2 with the current players.

In no way shape or form do the Castrol rankings make him the second best player in the world.

They fail to account that he's plays for the strongest team in his league, with fantastic service, that he gets chance after chance etc.

If they deducted points for misses, believe me Mr Gomez would be waaaaaaaay down that list.

He's a very good striker, but to suggest he is anywhere near the top players in the world is crazy talk.
