We should win comfortably. I'll go for 5-0. Oxlade Chamberlain to get a hat trick.

Why doesn't it? IMO champions league is the highest standard of football in the world and he has performed great against the worlds best clubs in that competition. He's played well for England in qualifiers many a time, but if performance for national teams is what makes a player world class then Peter Crouch is one of the worlds best.

I can't recall Rooney playing well for England for years. Granted he plays well for Man Utd but he doesn't produce for England. He was terrible in the world cup and not much better in the euro's. We were better in the euro's without him.

I think that was because he was banned for one International from the 21s so when Lampard pulled out they decided to have Shelvey serve his ban in the seniors and have him get the experience of a senior squad whilst serving the ban.

Bloody hell, Ukraine came to Wembley the over month and gave us a good game, but have just drawn to Moldova.

Back to England, can we not change the camera angle because those empty posh seats behind the dugout are an eye sore. Get back to the match you prawn sarmie eating twats.

Well that was a pile of ****e. I didn't think it was possible to be so angry and frustrated with a 5-0 win. Time and again we ran straight into a mass of blue shirts down the middle, instead of getting out wide. When we did bother to use our wingers, they tended to either play the ball too early or too late, and either too hard or not hard enough. Near the end of the game I saw Walker - whilst in acres of space and with a couple of free men in the box calling for a cross - cut BACK towards two opposition defenders and onto his weaker foot. WTF is that about?!

Also, can somebody please tell me why we started with a central-midfield pairing of Cleverley and Carrick? They're two of the worst players I've seen wear the white shirt.

Last time the Germans lost a qualifier for the WC was against us in the 5-1 demolition in Munich back in 2001.

    Those were the days.

Walker was rubbish last night, Glenn Johnson on that showing is a much better bet at right back.

Wasn't impressed with Walker, but I did feel Baines had a good game

Baines was excellent, even if it was against a pub team.

I thought he was our second best player, but I'm surprised Rooney didn't win MotM, I thought he controlled everything in the first half and he scored twice, not sure what else he could have done.
