Would be a good signing and we are obviously desperate for another center half but Lambiass said in this mornings journal that Perch and Williamson are "fantastic" centre backs and we don't need or can afford any additions in the near future.

Let's be honest Derek knows absolutely nothing about football and his knowledge of the game is nowhere close to intermediate.

We will have to make do with a center half with no physical presence and no height and another center half with no positional sense or technical ability.

On the plus side though it gives Ashley more fundings to buy out some of those remaining JJB stores.
