OK... what is the greatest ever moment you can remember supporting the Toon?

Mine is the moment in October 1996 when Phillipe Albert sailed the fifth goal over the head of Schmeichel in our 5 goal drubbing.

The sound of Martin Tyler shouting.... 'aaaaaooooooooowwwwweee phiiilllippppee Albeeeeeeeert'... gets my neck hair standing up even now and of course inspired my username as I wish we could buy a chip like that every week....

i beleive it was against southampton or maybe man city for these 2 but, I had just sat down and had a bite of a greggs sausage roll, sitting at the very top corner of the stadium facing the st james logo

shearer picked up the ball and ran straight in to score in under 10 awesome goal

    I have a few -

The greatest memory would definitely be the Tiote volley vs Arsenal. I was tempted to leave at half time. So glad I stayed. Such an amazing night!

Then it would be when Nolan scored the 2nd goal vs the mackems in the 5-1. I was really nervous on that day, and I didn't want to go inside the ground. When we went 2-0 up at 30 mins I knew it was going to be a great day for us.

HBA goal vs Everton in first season up. I was preparing for a struggling season with us playing hoofball to Carroll. When HBA and Tiote started that day, and we scored a goal like that, I just felt so amazing. I went mental. It was my first away PL game.

Agree with Tash to be honest about the Tiote goal in the 4-4 and the 5-1 in general, but I'll not cop out and say Enrique having to don the keeper gloves after he had the piss taken out of him all game... Magic <magic>

    Man city. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=ZMnvRWHxNW4

WBA away 1974 when we won 3-0. 25 thousand black and whites there that day. Awesome!

For me it was standing on the terraces as we beat Glasgow Rangers in the old Fairs Cup, the atmosphere was electric.
Secondly, Keegan's last game as a Toon player, the hairs on my neck tingled as he did his lap of honour.

I unfortunately was too young to have any real interest in football during the early-mid nineties, so I'm going to have to go with the obvious choices, Bellamy vs Feyenoord, Tiote vs Arsenal, Emre vs Sunderland, the Villa Revenge and the 5-1.

Nolan 3rd against Sunderland, I was sat right behind the goal

    Shearer - 201 v Portsmouth

    Bellamy winner against Feyenoord

    Tiote volley against Arsenal

    Enrique taking the goalie gloves

I was only in the stadium for the 1st and last ones, but I'll go with Nolan's hat trick as my greatest memory.

Mine would be whole of the Inter game at the san siro, I wasn't there but behind the goal when Shearer scored there seemed to be utter pandemonium amongst our fans, would loved to have been there!

For a game I've been at it would have to be have to be our home game vs Doncaster in the championship, we went 1-0 and had 10 men, but Nolan scored a 93rd minute and we won 2-1. I've only been to about 12 games for those wondering why I picked such a low key game (I've never seen us lose mind)!

I was at both those games and agree the atmosphere was unbelievable. I was also at the match against Bolton on Good Friday in 1965 when Jim Iley....:emoticon-0105-wink:..scored the winner to get us promoted to the 1st division, the noise that day was staggering.

    In no particular order
    Albert's chip against Man U
Robert's injury time goal away to the Arse to seal a 3-1 win to go top of the PL.
    Shola's 2nd goal in the Mackem 5-1
Tiote in the 4-4 against the Arse
    Dabizas header at the SOL
    Tino's 3rd against Barca
(i also have to put this one in....the goal that I went the most mental at was David Platt's injury time winner against Belgium at Italia 90)

Probably Sir Bobby's first game as manager where we won 1-0. It was my first time going to Stamford Bridge and Newcastle were the opposition that day and had some great players so to win and be in the presence of players like Shearer and greats like Sir Bobby was good.

Others probably include the 5-1 win v Sunderland for the simple reason I remember seeing a Newcastle fan absolutely hammered in the pub and barely able to stand after the game <laugh>

The Albert Chip is another as well <ok>

The one Newcastle United game I regret not being able to go to the most. Being there when Bellamy and Tiote scored the goals mentioned above. The top one though would be when we whopped Man Utd 5 - 0, never see a result like that again.

After getting my champions league tickets for Juventus at home Bobby Robson walked out towards his care I ran over and said " Hi Bobby please can I have your autograph" He looked in a hurry and said " have you got a pen" I replied "lol no I haven't"

he replied " Oh for **** sake man I haven't got time for this" he then got in car and drove off.
