What a shame Wycombe 3 1 up, doesn't look like the Paint Pot is coming back to Hampshire as Plymouth beat the 2nd best team Aldershot.
It was, but we have run out things to say about it, just hope the wonders of modern healing techniques can get him back asap. Just hope they don't rush it and cause a recurrence, it will be as good as a new signing when he does get fit, meanwhile we have to carry on without him.
Well it will be interesting to see how we manage before he returns in November (around the 19th I believe). Did ok against fulham in the first half. Any news on Mayuka?
In the absence of any news I just thought I'd share a true tale that im sure has no relation whatsoever to what our poor Gaston is suffering from. It's just interesting to know that despite all the modern medicine at doctors' disposal they can still struggle to treat what seems like such a simple injury. I worked with someone years back who played Sunday league footie and was pretty good. One time when he was tackled he broke a bone in his foot. Bad, yes but what came next was worse. His foot swelled up so he was kept in hospital. Over several days the hospital tried several things but the swelling continued so eventually his foot looked a bit like a baloon with the skin stretched very tight. Eventually the doctors said they were going to try one more thing to bring the swelling down and if that didn't work they would have to amputate - just because of a tackle and a broken bone! Luckily it all worked out ok for my workmate in the end and there's no reason to beleive that Gaston won't be back playing for us in the not too distant future
