Hasn't been around long enough, give him this season at least <laugh>

Think a lot of the Ronaldo hate was jealousy. He was a machine on the right for United. Still remember his first season at United - tried to nutmeg (I think it was) Didi Hamann, who just stood there, took the ball off him and made him look like a complete arse. Wonderful.

I have never personally been a fan of Kieron Dyer...

Adding to that i pretty much despised Kevin Phillips... Drogba and Lehman werent that bad (i loved the mini fight they had when they were both merely touched on the face and they both fell over whilst rolling around in agony). And Ronaldo is simply one of the best attacking players i have ever seen so why not flaunt it?

Ronaldo is a horrible slimey odious prick. Cracking player though <laugh> In all seriousness though, Messi is even more talented and is proof you don't need to have an ego the size of the moon to go with it. Nobody likes a big head and Ronaldo ****ing loves himself. It is not a jealous hate thing with me, its just a I find his character very dislikeable and epitomises everything I hate about modern footballers. And he doesn't seem to know if he wants to be a man or a woman.

Dyer is a tough one. Didn't have a lot of time for him while here. Money went to his head and I have had it first hand of him and Bellend Bellamy endulging in marching powder and playing the big shot. I still hate Bellamy with a passion but I've softened towards Dyer after he gave an interview where he spoke of his regrets while he was up here and how he cringes at his behaviour. Very complimentary about the club and fans. Bellamy on the other hand slagged off the fans, club etc.

Kevin Phillips is a complete prick obviously.

Drogba was not that bad but Jens Lehmann could start a fight on his own in a phone box due his self importance! I loved and hated him in equal measure because he did bring a lot of fun to proceedings.

Messi does have an ego, believe me. The press just don't expose it often enough as they do with Ronaldo

Can only take as you find though mate, and I have seen very little of him giving it the big I am. Certainly not to the extent of Slimeball!

District, why believe you? Do you know him personally?

I've never seen Messi show any sort of ego and comes across as quite humble to me.

    Likewise.

It goes to show how media perception of players can brainwash views on them. No professional footballer has had a bad word to say about Drogba off the pitch. In fact even Jamie Carragher was often quick to sing his praises as is every Chelsea player (Youth and Senior). He's worshipped in his own country as well.

I'm amazed Danny Mills, Duncan Ferguson and Roy Keane didn't make the list. Agree with JT being number 1 but I think hatred for Ashley Cole is exagerrated, most non-Arsenal fans I know don't hate him. I think he should be lower down.

So glad Karl Henry and Joey Barton are both out of the league, two total ****s with a ridiculous rivalry. Surprised about Adebayor, Spurs fans hated him and then loved him and Arsenal fans hate him but I didn't think he was widely hated. Would've thought Gallas was more likely to be on the list or Nasri.

Was it me going through them too fast or was there no Keane, Thatcher or Cantona? They all had famous incidences but they also were also hated for plenty of other reasons.

I could never hate Adebayor after his knee slide in front of Arsenal fans at the Emirates. I'm sure many felt the same. I'm pretty apathetic towards him although I dislike RVP

I agree with most of the list but was surprised not to see Graham LeSeux and Colin Hendry. I hated even seeing their faces...but remeber mostly hating their constant crying and moaning over every call or noncall.

Can't believe that Nigel de Jong isn't in that list <doh>.

Doesn't Drogba give tons of money to charity? They love to hate JT, don't they?
