Thanks to Gareth Ainsworth the team appear to be pulling together and I am once again feeling proud to be a Blues fan. One question though has a caretaker manager ever won manager of the month?? Could Gareth Ainsworth be the first?? Lets hope so!!:smiley:

Definately feel like the pride is back. Good job too, I just got the 125 year shirt for my birthday and was able to rub it under the nose of a Torquay fan on Sunday, good feeling! Will be wearing the shirt with pride now!

Just got back to Southampton from Pompey a great result with the two early goals you could see the confidence coming back. It looks a football team again. Apart from the one error in defence we even defended corners & free kicks.
The two disallowed goals were good finishes as well. This was the first game I have seen since the Fulham game, & the team out there tonight did not look anything like the team you all have been talking about on here

That is a cracking result, what sort of team did Pompey put out? Was it a near full strength side and was yours near full strength too?
