Not confirmed anywhere yet, but it's all over Twitter, including from Sky reporters, so it seems it's definitely happened. Edit - Now up on the BBC... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19869286
Not a great surprise as their fans were calling for his head after City beat them. Losing at the Wall was too much to take.
I guess it was inevitable, he just hasn't been able to carry on the management success he had at Burnley.
If QPR get rid of Hughes, as it's been reported in the press today, he could go to Bolton. Apparently, Redknapp's in line ot take over the Drama Queens. Outside chance: Peter Reid?
Mick McCarthy? Wonder if Blackburn and Wanderers will be competing against one another for someone's signature.
In todays quality press Tony Fernandes and the clubs hangman have said that Mark Hughes is the best manager DQPR can get. As for Bolton ? come in Mad Mick and maybe on a big promotion bonus. TWT as always.
With Bolton's huge debt problems they will need a cheap solution. Perhaps that is where Captain Tango comes in. He's won promotion from the Championship before so he's got the experience. Obviously he has links with the club and lives locally. It would make a lot of sense.
Too many managers get a team promoted have half a good season then move onto a "better job" and it always seems to end in tears.
