Spotted something similar on another forum and we has some interesting feedback recently on how Ron Davies was or sadly wasn't faring. Anyone got any more information on any of our ex players from previous decades. For example Steve Williams is I understand now a property developer in Devon. Rueben Agboola works as a car dealer, Dave Peach is in building and I think I read somewhere that George Lawrence is now a players agent. Anyone got any others?
Ulrich Van Gobbel ( 96-97 season ) is currently on the run from Dutch police after he was issued with a four month prison sentence for buying cars on credit and then selling them on without paying the original car company .
There's a chap who used to play for us I think, he is something to do with horses now I believe. Some geezer called "Micheal Channon" I believe? I gather he is doing pretty well for himself
Stuart Ripley sat on the three man FA panel that heard the John Terry case, so there's an interesting one.
As I reported quite a few months back; Tomasz Hajto is currently serving a jail sentence for death by dangerous driving!
Mel Blyth Although he was an electrician by trade, Mel later became a driving instructor but, by November 1990 he was running his own building firm in south London. In 2003 he was a director of a building company and also a part-time coach in Crystal Palace’s schoolboy academy. Info. May be a bit dated after all it is on WIki!
If you have time call up http://www.worldfootball.net/teams/southampton-fc/10/ and then Google them one at time and bobs your uncle all the data you need.
Cheers SD! Couldn't find out about Bob but see Saganowski is still banging in the goals 4 in 6 games for Legia Warsaw. Also one of my all time favourite players Ivan Golac runs a chocolate factory in Belgrade.
Don't know about any-one else but scanning the list from SAINTDON there are a lot of players I barely remember. Patrick Colleter is a good example.
I saw that Come Dine With me that had Razor and Carlton Palmer. That was such a funny episode. Palmer won by the way, although competition wasn't very stiff, Frank Worthington madeprawn coktail and spaghetti bolognaise!
Think I'd have let Razor win so as not to upset him! One scary defender. Him, Mark Dennis and Case in your side and you woiuldn't lose many battles.
I've looked a few times, and heard nothing of David Connolly since he left. Not heard of trials or anything. What's he up to? He hasn't retired but doesn't seem to have signed for anyone.
