Oh and MM is the only man on this planet who can take this club forward everyone else is sh*t and anyone who doesn't think this is a moron and is chinless and wet behind the ears!!!
Perhaps you Bin men should just embrace your inevitable relegation?! Look for the positives and see next season in League One as an opportunity to get rid of the deadwood, trim the wage budget down, and gain some confidence/momentum at a lower level. Iâd stick well clear of a novice like Ole Gunnar Solskjær, itâs time for you lot to go for some stability! Bring in an old hand to steady the ship, bring back some stability, you know someone like Mick McCarthy, Alex McLeish, or perhaps even John Wardâ¦
**** me! Never mind what the three wise men are doing to our club - look what they're doing to our fans! And if you can't tell the three wise men apart: Evans brings 'gold' Clegg brings 'frank nonsense' Jewell (being a Scouser) brings 'err...'
very good also, warky tisdale is a class act. he's crying out for someone to take a chance on him and give him the opportunity to step up. not sure if you've noticed but its quite tricky to win major titles with exeter city, but then he has won two promotions with exeter and four with team bath. almost wall to wall success, just lower down the league ladder. don't get me wrong, i'm happy for you to stick to your dinosaurs but don't insult a young, up and coming manager simply because you are ignorant. meanwhile you might find out for yourself next season how good tisdale is if he takes his newly promoted exeter team and passes your relegated team off the park. could happen
Very well said Supers. Some how I appear to agree more with what you say with your limited Interest in Town then 75% of Town fans on here who claim to know everything about whats happening at PR. we actually played Exeter in a cup match a few years back and Tisdale came away from that match with many plaudits. If we want young potential with a bit of experience behind him, can work on a budget and get results whilst playing decent football then he would be near the top of the list.
i rate tisdale highly, as you can tell, so i personally hope you don't go after him! but he's the sort of guy who you throw a project at - give him a five year deal to sort a club out and i reckon you'd see big returns within three years. needs a club with patience - your owner has it, not sure your fans do. i'd have had him at norwich but i doubt half our fans would want him cos he's not 'a big enough name'
I hope we don't end up with Di Canio due to his Nazi scumbag leanings. I really don't think anyone can get us promoted with things as they are. The Lee Martin contract nonsense bears that out. I think Evans would do better to relieve Clegg of his duties and see who the new Chief Exec wants to work with. Promotion is certainly not happening this season even with a change now, there is too much of a gap to make up.
Coyle is now available... i'd prefer him to McCarthy and Jewell any day of the week. Ok, hasn't had the greatest record at Bolton, but definitely our kinda manager, youngish, excellent man-management, and always talking postiive as opposed to Paul "it's-not-my-fault" Jewell.
you want a manager who has just been sacked! these are desperate times indeed. true, probably better than jewell but then so are most managers. proceed with caution is my advice
He done a great job at Burnley and a poor one at Bolton with some great players available for this level of football. Would prefere him to some of the other names mentioned but wouldnt be my first choice. Will be interesting to see who Bolton go for.
coyle is a good guy. he handled the muamba situation with dignity and its a shame to see someone like that lose their job, i have to say, but results have been poor for him for 18 months so it was inevitable. even we managed to double him last year.
When he took over at Bolton he got them playing great football and they looked a solid Mid table Prem side after moving away from the Allardyce 'hoof it' era but then Elmander left they suffered some injuries and they spiraled. He does remind a bit of Burley - partly because he's Scottish.. but he also gets teams playing the right way and has been said already he's a positive manager and I think he would be ideal for us right now. And Supers, a sacked manager now a days doesn't mean a thing! Pardew got sacked at Charlton - about to go into league 1 and Southampton in League 1 only to then became Newcastle Manager. Although at the other end of that spectrum Brian Laws got sacked by Sheff Wednesday then stepped up a division and took over Burnley and was arguably responsible for two sides getting relegated in the same season. But a manager getting sacked doesn't mean they aren't any good or doing a bad job these days....
Paul Tisdale! What the **** has he ever done? In that case why not go for Steve Evans who achieved back to back promotions (almost a hat-trick) with Crawley Town before he left and got them to the quarter finals of the FA Cup!
Tisdale has managed two clubs on very tight budgets and gain several promotions whilst having to contend with selling his best players every season as a way to survive. He plays decent football and has worked on a very tight budget which suggests he can get the best out of players. Steve Evans done well with the biggest budgets in lower league football so its hardly surprising . He has managed the lower league equivilent of Man City or Chelsea. It may not be easy as you still have to get the team to gel, have a successful tactic and handle the pressure but he has only done what was expected.
Why the usual suspects/******s are on here spouting off, while their team are yet to win a single ****ing game in their league is bewildering? And Mike, go and play on the A12 you window licker Okay. The only persons worthy of steering the good ship ITFC at present is Carlos Edwards & Bryan Klug combo. The out of work managers list is a ****er's roll call, they're ****. Someone even mentioned that little midget prick Dennis Wise?!!!!!!! **** me I'd take Magic back in a flash. Tell De Vos to get his arse off the pundit couch, HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So you wouldnt have appointed Burley or GOD then as they were both management non-entities before the took charge of two of our best periods in the last 35 years.
how can i put this in a way you'll understand...? **** OFF. i've added to the debate on here, unlike you
