    Morning everyone,

David Haigh, deputy chief executive officer and chief operating officer of GFH Capital, told The Sun: "Leeds is like a young Pamela Anderson. It's in great shape, with superb assets and a great future ahead of her. (Or does he mean that Bates is a bit of a tit) <laugh>???

Topic of the day has to be which celebrity best describes Leeds. Feel free to link a celebrity to opther clubs, for instance you could link Danny De Vito to Millwall because they are short of idea's.....

Three weeks, and it should all be over. Is this going to be the longest 3 weeks in history. (If I throw my clock out of my bedroom window, do you think time will fly???) (I'm full of em today)

Leeds United are being reported to be bringing in Peterborough United winger George Boyd on loan with a view to a permanent move in January. The Sun newspaper are reporting today that Peterborough have agreed a deal to join Leeds on loan before making the move permanent in the summer in a deal worth around £750,000.

I wonder now the takeover looks imminent whether we will see any other new faces at Elland Road?

Morning Elland, Tommy and everyone else to follow. I think I am T/O and rumour drained out to be honest. Not a supporter of Boyd but Warnock has managed to pull off a decent job so far so if he see's him fitting in well who am I to argue.

    Morning ristac, morning Tommy,

Firstly Tommy, you're not jelous are you <yikes>....

Ristac, agree. Warnock has not really put a foot wrong, not overly impressed with Varney, but who knows!!!

Sick of the whole t/o thing now, but whats pissed me off most is the latest LUST statement. Cooper has intimated that the original buyers (Fronted by GFH) are now out of the bidding, and GFH themselves are buying it??? David Haigh to be chairman wtf, and why would an investment bank buy a football club and why would DH leave a well paid tax free job in the middle east to come home, unless he's going to be the next absentee chairman. Lust have told us a load of stuff, and none of it has come true yet, but by the law of averages they are bound to get one right. Its called a scattergun approach and one pellet will hit the target.

I reckon I'll be pleased as soon as bates has fooked off, but would like to know who's buying us.

New owners seem very much a stop gap organisation, they will hope to sell us on to a bigger fish for a tidy profit.

This does not worry me, an organisation such as a bank aiming to make a profit is a lot more attractive vendor for a rich investor, than dealing with Uncle Ken.

My worry is that we don't get promoted and the cost of the takeover and profit is leveraged against the club (As the Glazers did), yet I doubt that given our history many investors would bankroll this.

The other worry is the hidden companies and liabilities that seem to crop up after a business is sold, but with the time taken over this deal it would be embarrassing to say the least if they have missed anything...

Morning all. Maybe we should keep Ken seeing as all the financial experts are already gunning for GFH. At least under him, well have an exciting transfer window again in January. Questions like, which premiership team is Byram going to and why did we get only a half million for him. Just as well we sold Becchio and Lees, theyre not Leeds through and through so selling them is a good thing. And dont forget the age old nugget of a question, where did the Snoddy, Maxi, Delph and Howson money go. Ah yes, it's clear GFH will be a disater and we need to hang on to Bates at all cost.

GFH or Bates - GFH anyday

Do I have reservations about GFH being in control of LUFC - Strong ones

On a positive, when it is time to be sold again maybe to some rich tycoon I am sure things will go through a lot easier, a lot more transparent and a lot quicker with GFH in charge over shady Ken

Don't take this the wrong way mate but you don't have to be an expert to see or understand why GFH are interested in buying us. They are not in it for the long term, quick and tidy profit before selling us on.

Hopefully Haigh being a Leeds supporter will ensure when it is time to be sold again there will be something in it for the fans to cheer about otherwise as long as there is a quick profit to be made do you really believe a financial institution will care about anything other than how much profit?

If their long term aim is to get us into the premiership and keep us there for a year before selling and pocketing the profit they will sell the likes of Byram for big money just as much as Ken would. The difference might be that they at least re-invest some of that profit back into the team.

Morning all. As I have said before, until I hear its signed, done and dusted, I'm assuming life will continue as normal and no T/O will happen-safest way! Cant take the dashed hopes anymore!

Christ Elland-that time flying joke was so bad it hurt. People have been locked up for less!!!

You better bloody believe they were. Satan would be an improvement on Bates. I've lost seven precious years of my life as a Leeds supporter thanks to him

Not in the least bit jealous - we now have a cash and wage structure firmly in place at Millwall - OK we can't afford the big names but we are certainly aligned with the proposed fair play rules with regard to income v expenditure......and anyway, I like our homely little club that continues to punch well over it's weight! look behind you there's only 6 points in it!
