The only thing he could do really! Funny how the club says Sonny doesnt have a facebook account when it appears from some posters on here that he clearly did and they know him! It would have sounded more plausible if the club said his account had been hacked rather than "it wasnt his" lol Anyway, we move on......unlike him if that is his attitude.
How come when the club come out with incredibly suspicious statements about all this money being available and Barmby just choosing to make himself look a tit by pretending there wasn't, everyone laps it up, but no one can believe this statement might be the truth?
Because there's all sorts of evidence out there that his Facebook account was genuine. He's failed to cover his tracks rather badly, I'm afraid.
But the club have joined in, surely they wouldn't be stupid enough to dive in and tell everyone it's all bollocks without making sure it's the truth first?

Yeah I saw that! He is actually acknowledging here the facebook account that the club denies exists. Now he is going to have to say his twitter isnt his! This could have so easily been prevented had the club just said "Sonny's account was hacked as his password was not secure enough. This has now being rectified and apologies for the idiot who did this...we ofcourse value you as supporters etc etc blah blah Not like City to manage things badly in the media though
The lad is a moron, pure and simple. He'd beat buck his ideas up and grow up fast because he has potential but an attitude like that will get him nowhere but in trouble. I don't do Facebook and Twitter, but it looks like those comments were his and so were the accounts. Which in turn makes the club look stupid. No half measures, they should deal with this properly. It's like they can't be bothered, and in turn have lied to us.
I googled this alleged assault and all I found was forum rumours from the day of the Coventry match last season. Either hecwasnt charged or the rumour was bollocks. Re the facebook thingy I'd be surprised if there was a cover up by the club bearing in mind the recent history of dealing with errant players and things being said in the media. I have never.looked at the alleged fake account so wouldn't know if it.was.fake.or.not
I would like to think the club would have investigated before releasing a statement - should easy to check the isp address or whatever?
