Ditto. I enjoyed Pandorum but I've never heard of Moon. I'll check it out.

Luv, I disagree with your viewpoint on Alien. It is an absolute classic and there's no need to tamper with it <ok>

My comment was more on Aliens than Alien, I watched it again recently and was bored stiff whreas I used to love that film. I think it would have been good to redux the first 2 movies or even combine them into 1 long movie. Alien is still good and Alien 3 stands up well, just bollox after that anyway.

Wow. Yes, you certainly are fussy. <ok>

Just out of curiosity: how is The Big Lebowski one of your favourite films? You stated you didn't like comedies. Do you watch it in a very earnest manner? :emoticon-0138-think

I like funny films like The Big Lebowski where the comedy is in the writing and characters and the acting but not comedies like American Pie where just being idiotic is supposed to be funny.

Cheers for your posts, going to watch Kill Bill back to back and see if it's better as 1 film.

Fair play. There's few comedies I don't like as my taste is quite broad. The only 'comedy' I've ever disliked was The Royal Tennenbaums (TRT). It was quite literally the worst film I've ever watched, with the possible exception of Teen Wolf Too. I watched TRT twice just in case I'd missed something. Nothing. Not even a smirk. I went back to Blockbusters to see if they'd put it in the comedy section by mistake. Just a terrible film, IMO. Teen Wolf Too was worse because I tried to watch that film twice and got 20 mins in both times before turning it off.

Ah, I've finally found someone who likes it! Care to explain what's funny in it? Specifically, I mean. I honestly haven't got a clue.

Other than Bill Murray, just the absurd story and disjointed performances (I swear some of the cast are at the point of laughing in most scenes) I like most Wes Anderson films. Rushmore being my favourite, the humour is a bit more obvious but still a bit strange, bite the bullett and watch it and let me know what you think.
