Never was going to be any action against RVP. Cabaye taking a few weeks to go down ensured that Huth though, probably should of been. Ah a little edit, see you forgot to mention Tiotes stamp also going unpunished. Wonder why eh DL....
Has he ever had a ban? This guy is immune to the things. Even when he gets a red he doesnt serve a suspension
All you have to do is look at Ivanovic and you'll get shoite scared! They daren't make him do anything too strenuous! On a serious note the FA have, in my opinion, labelled themselves as a joke. Not just for things concerning Chelsea but previous events. To say that A.Cole has 'brought the game into disrepute' for his tweet hence they charged him yet Rio Ferdinand gets nothing for his racist 'choc ice' tweet is laughable... I'm sure us Chelsea fans will show our discontent at WHL next week.
Hooray!! your bitterness and obsession with all things UTD has cheered me up on my sick bed. Cheers DL
Erm... yeh I just found that out and was waiting for your correction But I hear it was only £45,000... To a footballer that is peanuts... Anyways don't get in my way as I hate the FA more and more
Well I hope you're still smiling when you leave Stamford Bridge empty handed and when you are dumped out of the League Cup
Yep because Manchester United are so perfect... how could anyone say a bad word against Fergie and his team? Oh and I think you're being unkind on yourself. We'll win... but only 2-0
that looked like a clear elbow, Dermot Gallagher even said RVP was just going for the ball even though I thought he would get a ban
The incident was directly in Webb's line of sight. Much like the Lescott elbow last season he bottled any decision and didn't want to admit his mistake with the replay's help. For me it's violent conduct whether he connects well with it or not. RVP clearly knows what he's doing but Webb's hiding behind the fact that he hasn't connected with any force. Neither did Gervinho when he slapped Barton last season yet he got a 3 game ban for violent conduct(I think?). Webb sees it and might have booked RVP to show he's not a total fool but RVP's already been booked so he bottles it. The FA really have to change this process. Don't leave it up to the refs to have to admit mistakes or say they missed it. The best way to get consistency is to have a panel making these retrospective decisions. That way the same panel that rejected the appeal for Gervinho's slap and other appeals will decide whether Van Persie's forearm/elbow is violent conduct. If they're any good they will eliminate inconsistency as well as continually giving examples to refs of what is and isn't violent conduct, as well as other decisions. Same goes for Huth, Tiote and any others I've forgotten about.
You blurt out some verbal on twatter you get charged however if you intentionally harm someone you get away scot free...
RVP didnt hurt him at all, his delayed reaction was all the evidence of that Drogs. Rio was done for what he did on twitter and so will Cole. Seems consistent for the FA at least.
