It wasn't the FA it was Howard Webb who reviewed it after the match and didn't deem it an act of violence.

Still wearing those tinted RED specs from the match I guess

I don't have a problem with it to be fair. It makes a bit of a mockery of Cabayes retrospective banning last year, but for me it isn't a big deal. Sure his arm went in his face but it wasn't exactly forceful.

You can always tell when someone is seeing things through tinted specs:

Everyone except man u fans: Van persil should have been banned, blatent off the ball whack for no reason but to hurt cabaye

Only man u fans: Tiote's "stamp" was worse...

    Hmmm...

    Of course dear.

A blatant stamp that everyone thought was a straight red or a brush of the face which even Cabaye had to think about before going down.

Even some of the lads on here dont know what the fuss is about regarding RVP.

Your argument also failed when you posted as if you were 5. van Persil. Well done <ok>

As I expected really... saw the incident in real time, agree with WarmPouch to be honest, and I'm not man enough to watch that crap again so that's what I'm sticking to. Van Persie did seem a bit malevolent at times during the game, but maybe that's just his face. Cabaye is a bit french at times, and I'll just leave it at that, because you'll know what I mean. Especially Man Utd fans who've had Cantona, Evra and Bartez etc!

Didn't see the Tiote stamp, but his over-reaction to getting booked was embarrassing. I really want to know what is happening to the best player I've seen in a Newcastle shirt, because I thought he was one of the worst out there yesterday. Are his knees gone? I hope he turns his form around, because for some reason I just sense we won't keep him much longer, and I don't want my lingering memory to be him waddling round on his knees with his hands on his face.

Obviously your still drunk from the weekend fella...

Tiotes "stamp" was a mis-timed and poor challenge, which the ref saw and played advantage. If it were that bad, I'm sure you'd agree Mr Howard "ManU" Webb would have blown up for it and given Cheick a card.

RVP on the other hand was an off the ball, deliberate elbow, which luckly for him Mr United was looking the other way for? 6 months ago you would have been saying the same as every other fan in the country. Funny how opinions change when its your player.

    Ahahaha! Wound up much?

Man u fan: "blatent stamp... What's the fuss about Van persie".... brilliant, can't you see how biased you are, it's amazing.

By the way, you seem too ignorant to realise that van Persil is a well known play on his name to belittle the arrogant little ponce. Read to OP - it's used there too. Nice work. Moron.

Ah so one child uses it so you must use it...... what if he told you... ya know the rest <ok>

Nothing to be wound up about, I said yesterday there was nothing in it.

Picture it this way, imagine it was one of your players brushing his hand across a Man Utd players face and the United player took a while before deciding to go down. What would be your reaction. Be honest, you know full well you would be calling the United player for cheating.

there was nothing in the RVP one, nothing at all.

All this talk of bias and yet you are dismissing Tiotes stamp completely. Tells us who is the biased here.

Awww, bless, you've realised you made a mistake.

    This guy is hilarious!!

May I point out another mistake too please... can you please quote the point I "dismissed Tiote's stamp completely"?

But yeah "just brushed his face"... "cabaye trying to get him sent off" .... "tiote stamp".... You keep believing that you're not biased mate, it's not coming across that way at all.

Not at all bias. When I see my team **** up or my teams players act ****s I point it out. RVP was a bit rash in some tackles yesterday but the 'elbow'.... yeh, **** all in it. Cant ****ing stand players who fake injury either. Shameful.

Seems like you are dismissing it as nothing if only Man Utd fans think its worse.

Having watched it again it was a really bad tackle, over the ball and a stamp at the end. Red card offence every day of the ****ing week. To suggest otherwise means this discussion is over as I prefer to talk with those who know the rules <ok>
