    System will not work until Gerrard is not playing. Only an injury will ensure he doesn't play because no manager will have the balls to drop him. Coincidentally, our best form over the past 2 years have come when Gerrard was out injured.

    Suso should never have gone off.

    Sorry Captain Fantastic? Captain Mediocre more like...not the only poor performer today but he completely disrupts the flow of midfield when he's in this form. We can't have patient possession, short passing football with a bloke who thinks its a good conversion rate to thread the needle with one in twenty Hollywood passes.

    When does his automatic place start to be questioned by the Manager?
