    MIG

    Bardsley. Jos. Brown. Rose

    Larrson. Vaughan

    Johnson. Gardner. Sess

    Fletcher

I think that gives us a much more competitive edge in the middle of the park. Flair on the flanks. I think Gardner would support Fletch well too.

    Mcclean impact sub if needed

Might be too much to ask of Bardsley and Brown to come into this game after injury

MClean and Colback are not doing this season, a stint in the reserves should do that, and not one player other that fletcher had a shot on goal, we are doomed without THAT quality striker i have kept mentioning, 6 games and only Fletcher has scored that is a terryfiing statastic.

    bardo cuellar oshea rose

    meyler vaughan

    seb gardner johnson

    fletcher

id drop both mcclean and sess as they bin cack so far this season. i would never play sess on the wing as he doesnt track back enough and with johnson on the other wing they would have a field day attacking our full backs. this is what id like to see as vaughan and meyler need to get a hold of midfield and dictate it but ive got a feeling it will be the exact same team as the citeh game

Yes we were beaten yesterday but that was away to the champions. No other team has managed to beat us or take the lead.

    My team would be

    ......................Mignolet......................
    Gardner...oshea.....Bramble......Rose
    ...............larsson....colback...............
    Johnson........sessegnon.........McClean
    .......................Fletcher.........................

Newcastle looked vulnerable from set plays so Seb could be key to this one. I hope he brings Bramble back in for Cuellar because we can do without giving stupid free kicks away around the box. Any other game and McClean and Colback would be rested for me but we need their work rate for the derby. Think one goal will win it hopefully its us who gets it.

Totally agree with every word, crosses into the box and set plays are going to be key after watching them today, definately weak in defense

But we are not exactly setting the league alight up front.

Teams will just try and nullify Fletcher as our attack threat and that will be us well and truly f**ked.

    ........Meyler.........Colback..........
    Johnson...Sessegnon...Larsson

Agreed mate, its the only way i see us beating them though, if we get embroiled in a midfield battle we'll come out second best i'm afraid, need to get one on one of the big lads noggins

Taylor and collo should both be fit for this came though. With any luck we will be at full strength in 2 weeks time.

I'm surprised most are putting Larsson in without question.
I think his all round play has been woeful for quite some time now.

why for him to be mauled by tiote and cabaye?

he's championship class and does not have the ability to play in this league

Colbacks number 1 fan has spoken...........................................mind he has been poor this season, not as poor as McLean though, however Colback is doing the anchor role, the same as Whitehead did and like Colback, he is finding there are not many plaudits to be had for this role in the team.
