This point doesn't have legs I'm afraid... even away from the workplace, you must've heard of instances where employees have ended up getting the sack for things they've said on Facebook in their own time? I don't see how this situation is any different and regardless of who started it, if you're in the public eye you either shouldn't be on social networking sites, should be big enough to ignore it, or be prepared to take punishment and reprimand when you behave irresponsibly on a medium that the whole world can see.
You clearly didn't read the original post on Facebook. Sonny Bradley wasn't even mentioned. Someone said they preferred one player to another and he piped up saying it was a s**t page. His mate then got involved boasting that we were all pathetic and Sonny has a £40k Merc. Sonny came back on and made that comment about City fans being f***ing ******s. There was no reason for him to even be commenting on anything. No one was giving him abuse/screaming in his face or even mentioned him yet he thought it a good idea to call people fat and say talk about fans having heart attacks etc. He finally deleted some of his comments yet he is back on the thread today looking for trouble. Get your facts right before you comment!
Yeah, he was just acting like a t**t. It was on Hull City Chat and Info 2012 thread. He's deleted some of the comments now but you can see to start with nobody mentioned/insulting him. Thick footballer showing off.
Sack him ! Seriously, how can we support a spoilt little brat who posts bile like this ? Sack him Ehab,i am Kempton Kebab and i demand it !
I'm terrible with some of my customers sometimes, they come in here and ask a price and when I tell them they might say "I can get that cheaper somewhere else" Then I say well **** off somewhere else and buy it then ha ha ha. I can't help it I think it is my Hessle Rd upbringing, funny thing is most of the time it gets a laugh and they think it's just me being a Basil Fawlty type Englishman A few take offence of course but you would be suprised at how many of them back down, swallow their pride and buy it anyway because I know my prices are the best and they just trying to bargain with me. Of course I own the business so I can do what I want but Sonny boy gets a lot of money for kicking a football around so needs to keep his trap shut on social networks
I think it's genuine he's just posted about it on twitter sorry I can't do the link. What a stupid way to act though.
I'm completely missing the link here. Why is having a go at one numpty 'labelling all fans mugs'? Great post. He isn't working when he's on facebook and he#s representing no one but himself. Why can't he have a go at someone? Do sportsmen have to constantly pretend that they're always perfectly calm? Like I said in my first post, this is more to the point. It all comes down to whether Bradley was being a ****, or responding to a ****.
ISTPLT, I think we've already established that he wasn't responding to a personal attack, he was just being a twat. If a member of my staff slagged of my customers on a social network site, then they'd no longer be a member of my staff. Though I don't actually employ any dimwit gobshites, so it's unlikely to be an issue.
Just my humble opinion..................regardless of how the conversation came about, that first screenshot in which Sonny says "haha bunch of ****ing ******s..You just keep paying your £25 for your tickets so you can pay my wages...Oh make sure you get hot dogs and drinks aswell so I can get a cheek bonus #Winning" is absolutely appalling! Its a hard life out there at the moment and people are struggling to find that money for football!!! What a ****ing attitude to have for your fans...supporters....people who pay your wage! Quite frankly disgusted a professional footballer has said this...doesnt matter what was said before....this is clearly his attitude and it ****ing stinks................
Just as the owners are trying their best to get the attendances up,an employee takes it upon himself to try and drive them away. This sort of comment may well be the straw that breaks the camels back for some. I doubt Mr Allam will support his views that we are all mugs for paying good money to watch our team #hullcitycareerover.
I think the first clue we got was when he practised his free-kick technique on some lad's head in a pub. Now he's displaying his class and intelligence online. Add to that the fact that's he's just not very good. This kind of stuff is why so many people hate footballers.
