Who was the little Korean bloke running around slowly with 'Park' on his back? It wasn't actually him, was it? Faurlin may not be perfect but he's streets ahead of that and I've been a Park fan when others haven't.

Faurlin has played a lot of games recently and looked a little leggy Vs West Ham, i can understand him being rested given the cruciate injury.

I'm a Park fan........but he seems to have lost at least a yard of pace and I fear he's simply coasting along for the pay cheque!

Col. I think this is a massive problem. We have so many players on big wages on the down beats of their careers.

    Park
    Granerro
    Barton
    SWP
    Ceaser
    Johnson
    Zamora.

These are guys who's careers are I a no mans land with no real reason to play well.
They have played for some massive clubs and aren't going To get back into that top level again. Qpr serves as no more than a safety net into retirement.

Personally I think your better buying these guys as 32 when they can see the ends of their careers and are keen to get a few last good years under their belts.
At 29ish they must just feel lost and somewhat disillusioned going from man u to qpr in case of park.

Mmm.......you could be right about Park/SWP/Barton.....but I don't agree on the others.

Col. They are the three worst examples of that obviously.

Why do you not think so on the others?

I think Granero is a good player with a long future/Zamora is playing well/Cesar looks class and Johnson was doing really well before his injury (which had nothing to do with him coasting).

Yeah you could be right about those guys.
Think Zamora is passed his best now though in reality.
Granero does look class, hope he stays at that level.
Ceaser I'm not sure about. He's going to get a nasty shock when he finds out he can't win the league at qpr.

I think AJ probably falls into the last few years of his career category.

However my point is , we don't seem to have learnt from our mistakes of the past with regards to the signings.
Why hasn't TF told MH to avoid these ageing players after Barton and SWp. Look for more diakites ( without the cards would be handy) other than Samba we really haven't found any gems.
We need more hunger in there. Along with many other things.

AJ was looking good before the QPR curse struck again, SWP should never have come out for the second half when he did I stoppped watching knowing we were gone.

I completely understand the points raised here but can't help the feeling of a smoke a mirrors argument, its more than the age of a few players affecting the outcome week in week out. Organisation/selection/motivation/training all come first.

Bush, I completely agree, but its a good a place to start to pick the problems apart!!

Personally I feel the problem goes further than Hughes and goes all the way up to TF with regards to whats happening at the club.
...................And I'll stop myself there as I realize my views will be vilified
