I know this has been done to death but it feels like he's been taken by aliens, where is he now?, will nobody take a chance on him? is his injury problems greater than the club were letting on, I cannot believe no one will give him a go.
    Any ideas anyone. ?

Not aliens. He's gone back to live with a pack of wolves.

Flash is a good keeper when he's fit , which isn't often enough for any of the top boys to take a punt on.

    Championship bound I reckon.

Did he break both arms or the same one twice?

I have said some time ago that when fit this lad is as good as any in the EPL and the fact he has been available for several months and yet cant find any takers tells you why we didn't offer any kind of contract for him.

I said I feared that the injuries had finished him at the very top and I fully expect his next move to be maybe Championship or even somewhere like the SPL or right at the bottom with Rangers.

Luckily for us, Simon Mignolet has come back this season looking like a top, top class keeper and at just gone 24 years old, he could be our number one for the next 10 years. I don't have any concerns at all with him this season and that save against Kone was as good as I have EVER seen in 40 years watching football. If he had done it in a Man Utd or Chelsea shirt he would be talked about in the realms of the Banks, Shilton's and Schmeichel. I rate the lad up there with Joe Hart at the minute, on current performances at least.

Mignolet is an excellent shot stopper but needs to work on his positioning from set pieces; distribution and command of his area before he's considered a top class keeper.

saves like from Kone and Nolan make people take note though and I Wouldnt be that surprised if he's on the radar of some top teams. Someone like an Arsenal or a top 4-6 team in Spain or Italy
