did you ask Ryan about his measured assist for Bradshaw's FA Cup goal against Osset Albion t'other week. It was brilliant. Square in the nuts from 10 yards before the ball (the football I mean) found its way to Bradshaw in the area for a class finish. During the celebrations, nobody realised, or cared perhaps, that poor Ryan lay clutching his privates in a way that only a little fella with crunched nuts could do.

Wouldnt that pointless month have football doen him the world of good if he'd have played out of his skin and made SB sit up and take notice? He could have then slotted right in. His attitude is wrong. FACT

He was man of the match for the reserves last week apparently, I don't think it's fair to claim his attitude is wrong, he wants to play for City and trying to prove it by being outstanding for the reserves, he can do little more. He's in the last year of his contract, he wants a new one, he's unlikely to get one if he's shipped out to a mediocre League One team.

If he wants a new contract he should do what the boss says. A mediocre league 1 team is far far above playing for the reserves against Hartlepool, in his comfort zone there isnt he.
Managers send players out on loan to see what they're made of.

Isn't it a case of reserves not being up to the level of fist team football, surely even Pompey would be more competitive than the reserves?

The reserve league is ****, that wasn't really my point, if he's shipped out on loan in his final year, he'll almost certainly be released at the end of the season.

He played the last seven games of last season and he didn't let us down, he didn't let us down in either of his Premier League appearances either.

The reality is that the only reason he was being shipped off to Pompey, was so that we could sign Bruce jnr.

And the reason why Nigel Pearson signed Daniel Ayala, Anthony Gerrard, James Chester and Jack Hobbs while shifting OUR Liam out on loan was.............

May be wrong but I seem to remember Pearson rated Liam but wanted him to go on loan to get some experience as he felt he wasn't ready for the first team yet. Regardless, every manager we've had since Liam emerged has rated him quite highly so I don't see any reason for that to change, maybe Beryl is having similar thoughts? Either way, he's making his attitude questionable by refusing to go to pompy however **** they may be, and I'd personally have rather he'd gone and played out his skin so he could return and get Alex puke out the starting XI

You'd have to ask him, you could ask him why he did the same with Jay Simpson while you're at it.

    It's exactly the same.

If I'm honest I think Brown spoilt the lad by playing him in the Prem, he thinks he's a lot better than he is now, and because of that he'll probably never get above League 1 consistently.

I will which car park do you thinks best?

If two ex centre backs dont want to play him, i reckon they know more than we do. The only reason Nick played him was through injury to Hobbs.

Not the point i was making which you have totally missed.

and they will again. Dont get too smugg Proud. 3 of your last 5 wins have been lucky. (Blackpool-Burnley-M'Boro)

Chester and Bruce should be fit by the 20th. We only have this weekend to worry about.

    4th November apparantly.

If that is the case then Steve Bruce is a Liar. He said everyone gets a clean slate. SB has not given Cooper a chance to prove himself. Its a disgrace that Cooper is not at least on the bench. He should be at the Wendies.

That is the whole point. Bruce is letting family ties cloud his judgement imo. Liam Cooper has never let us down and he should be given his chance by SB.

Utter rubbish ^^^ this.!!! A club closer to Hull would have been better ffs. Scun.thorpe would have been the perfect fit. However Cooper should be allowed his chance like everyone else has been.

Correct. Just about sums up the whole Liam Cooper / Steve Bruce situation.

To be fair Alex Bruce has not let us down but now we are missing 3 centre halves and dont look like bringing anyone else in, Cooper will surely make the squad tomorrow?
