Has anyone else spotted Ashley's sportsdirect.fr ads bouncing up and down the touchline? Didn't he do the same thing against Atromitos?

Just noticed them myself and thought maybe that we were watching a French camera feed with ESPN words.

Getting put under lots of pressure here. Decent start, but it pains me to say that Fergie looks out of depth a little bit.

What did Ober have for breakfast? He's having a blinder!
Anita is looking a bit lost in midfield again.

He's looking a bit naive defensively isn't he.

I think he's a lot more comfortable further up the pitch, I don't think he looks out of his depth when on the ball etc, just his positional play at left back.

Bordeaux look a decent team. Could do with another goal to give us breathing space.

Anita looked better as part of the midfield 3 before we moved him right and went 4-4-1-1

Poor ****ers, Bordeaux had looked mint up to that point. What a dreadful own goal. Not complaining from our point of view.

Thats the first time we've been two goals to the good this year.

I'm hoping this will allow us to play with confidence and not force the issue when we have the ball (like we have in nearly every game so far this season).

We haven't been great, but we've looked decent in parts. Cabaye is looking sharp, which is re-assuring. Think id swap Anita or Tiote for Bigi in the second half just because of the yellow cards.

Not a bad first half. Bordeaux look good when they are coming forward. Stand out player so far is Obertan, he's playing well.

Cabaye for me, looks to have finally remembered how to play a forward pass, and perhaps more importantly how to run!

Tiote looks like he is gunning for a red again :p He really needs to learn to stop the silly challenges, he is a good enough player to not need to.
