I know that we are no Dortmand but joe hart is playing a blinder, city could easily have conceded 3 - 4. I guess it proves that if you have a go at city you have a chance, a bit like our game at the Etihad last season.
Mancini will probably be sacked after we beat them on Saturday. Steve Kean ready to step in possibly.
They play 4-2-3-1 predominantly and the problem is that none of the 3 behind the striker can be arsed to work back, and they just get overrun by the continent's top teams who have players capable of picking the right pass.
I fancy Mancini might get the chop, they are in real danger now, 6points behind both Dortmund & Madrid and a home defeat (if it stays as is). They were poor at the weekend as well, it's just not happening for them. Hart has been incredible tonight, else they'd have been thrashed, either way they have been schooled.
Problem is we haven't had a "GO" at anyone in any of our games this season and I fear if we take the lead then it'll be like the Alamo all over again! Hope not but we'll see.
Said all along they have some great players but they don't have a great team. All the top defenders in the world and they went for Lescott???? As has been said we need to start going for it a bit more. If we are going to get beaten by the top teams lets get beaten with our heads held high. Not sitting back inviting them on and hoping we hold out.
PS. I love Balotelli. The keeper trying to put him off before the penalty kick and ending up looking an arse. as Balotelli picked the ball out of the net taking the piss out of him.
We may not win but I think it'll be the beat we'll have looked as an attacking threat. Man City will be feeling a bit of pressure after last night so will be edgy and looking for an early goal so they'll be pushing men forward. Have a feeling sess will get alot of space to pull the strings for us. On paper we should lose but who knows in football
