I am scanning through looking for this comment....is that really what RLGB thinks? Drop Yoshida, the best defender we have by million miles and chuck in a next to useless left back instead? Yeah good one! Confirms what I already thought and that is he obviously either doesn't watch the games or doesn't know football at all?

Have we thought that Yoshida could definitely play left back and maybe getting Hoover and Fonte partnering again, Im not a fan of Fonte and Hoover next to each other but we have got what we have got. Think Yoshida is mobile enough to play there!

    What about Reeves at left-back?

Came on Saturday so clearly Adkins isn't afraid to use him there, and by all means, sounded pretty steady at the back

Fulham have looked relatively decent this year despite losing Dempsey. They've put away more goals than us and conceded less this season (albeit in easier games) but they won't be easy to play against. Their midfield is pretty strong (Sidwell, Petric, Duff, Ruiz) with goals spread amongst them and I can see them getting a goal or two.
On the other hand, they've lost away at Sheff Wed, Man Utd & West Ham so far so there's no reason why we can't beat them at St. Mary's. I don't rate their defence but if they stick Hangelaand on Lambert from set pieces he may struggle.

I think our midfielders may get a couple of goals and we'll sneak it by the odd goal (2-1, 3-2, 4-3)...

Look at my two posts on page 1.

Also we played Yoshida and Hoovield CB with Seaborne at LB in cup. So can't see anyone playing LB other than Clyne, Fox or Reeves (who I can't see becoming first choice LB at all anytime soon)

The problem is self-evident. People end up going off-topic and then the OP moans about it.

    ---Puncheon------------Ramirez---------------Lallana--

    Boruc
    Richardson Fonte Yoshida Clyne
    Schneiderlin JWP
    Puncheon Ramirez Lallana
    Lambert

Subs: Gazzaniga, Reeves, Hooiveld, Davis, Mayuka, Guly, Rodriguez (swap the goalies around and Schneiderlin with Davis if the starters aren't fit).

Prediction: 2-2, 1-0 down at HT and after the break we get two goals within minutes of each other, but then Fulham equalise right at the end. Goals from Puncheon and Lambert.

I really hope we do something different this match everyone is predicting a similar team and fromation to what we've been using all season and as far as i'm aware it doesn't work, Clyne is not a LB don't play him there, Richardson is not premier league standard. For me Clyne has to stay RB and we have to play Fox LB Adkins thought he was good enough not to buy a replacement so play him. Centre backs any 2 from the 3 for me they are of the same standard. should play 4 across the middle and 2 up front as i don't think we spent 6 million on a forward to play him out of position. We need to go back to basics and play as a solid unit without any doubt.

from what i've seen of him live i've been pleased, i wish he could speak the lingo as i think he'd be a good organiser which is something we are desperate for, i'd like to see him along side jos with clyne on the right and fox on the left and see if we look a bit tidier as on saturday it was chaotic at the back.

Well if thats the case then maybe he's not the best organiser as he was very quiet against everton or maybe he's still settling in and didn't want to shout over the top of fonte.
