I get that feeling too. Is Park not allowed to be dropped. He is awful. I don't think Hughes is his own man like we're all lead to believe.

    Mark Hughes wiki entry:-

"Hughes suffered with disciplinary problems throughout his career, and in his first season at The Dell he received 14 yellow cards, a total which has never been exceeded in the Premier League."

you have to remember that our first choice defenders are injured so we are going to be weak in that area whoever is manager
I believe he made errors in the team selection though
He should of left Cisse on the bench and started with Hoilett or Taarabt
Also Diakite would of made us stronger in midfield as we were outnumbered in the first half
Diakite needs to think before he launches into a tackle though

Yorkshire I'll be honest with you mate.

We have never won away under Hughes. How is that me demanding instant results?
This is our worst EVER start to a campaign. How is that me demanding instant results?

I expected us to have beaten Swansea, drawn with Norwich and beaten the Hammers so I would expect to be on 7 points, mid table. You thought 8 points?

We are bottom with 2 points. Our defence is shot. We play 2 in midfield against a physical side. For some stubborn reason the manager seems to want to make an example of our most creative player and sideline him.

These are not my demands for instant results. This is a trend my friend. How long will you accept being bottom and not winning away??

This is not some Damascene conversion, I never wanted Hughes, I think he's staid, dour and overly physical. Our injury list and disciplinary record is testament to that.

I honestly believe having been a rangers fan for 40 years that the signs aren't good and he isn't the right man for our squad & club.

I'm not a revolving door merchant but I do believe that sometimes you have to cut your losses before its too late and say 'we got it wrong', change the manager and get on with it.

For the record my favourite manager of recent times was De Canio and I was happy under his stewardship win lose or draw.

Have to say they I've generally supported Hughes & that a lot of the comments to date have been completely OTT. That said the team selection is baffling, Park is clearly not a left wing & should never be considered there particularly when we have better options in Hoilett, Taarabt & even Traore. Similar situation on the right where SWP continues to do next to nothing & would much sooner see Park or Mackie start on that side.

Fair enough. I am by nature perhaps a bit more cautious and willing to forgive mistakes as long as we get to the promised land. Agree with you entirely about Di Canio. The guy was inspirational. Somehow we didn't mind shipping a lot of goals in those days because we banged them in by the bucket load at the other end with a moderate Championship side. Sadly, I suspect he wouldn't really workout for us because Premier eague demands clean sheets and good defences and that was never his strong spot.

Are you off to West Brom on Saturday? If so is it a case of going back to your roots so to speak or just a well chosen moniker?

I think would should play AT most games give him a license to roam around the pitch like he did in the championship it cant be any worse than it is at the moment.

Good Post Wubba, I must have missed a trick when di Canio was manager (might have been on an adventure during his tenure!!!) digressing.....I remember cycling along the cut to Horsenden Hill from the Grove in the winter to sledge down the slope, probably doesn´t get snow on it anymore??
