What is that eight players on a yellow?

This shouldn't be allowed, dominating the flow of the game through fouls.

They set out from the first minute to bring us down and recoup their positions making it easier to defend

I agree Q.P.R., but some might call that tactical management, playing to a team's strengths, and stifling your opposition?

Perhaps we could do with some of that management know how, huh?

It actually wasn't a dirty game either...most of those were "tactical" yellows....Disgusting tactics from Sam, ridiculing West Hams history of playing decent football

Sadly this is all too common nowadays. If you watch a game you will notice that players take it in turns to give away niggly little fouls to break up play that don't quite warrant a booking. I would have thought the refs would have been more aware of this gamesmanship. Not so.

The Dark arts of premiership football,
A concept that Hughes seemed to invent as a player but hasn't been able to pass on as a manager.

The game wasn't as dirty as the amount of cards from both sides got would suggest, the ref just gave a yellow everytime so neither manager would complain about inconsistincy from the ref.

He should have given a couple of yellows earlier and it wouldn't have been so bad.
Sadly, their cynical tactics worked a treat.
