Not saying he is, not saying he isn't, but these claims come as no surprise to me. I know a lass who claims (this claim being many years ago by the way) that JS made inappropriate verbal advances towards her in a Scarborough restaurant in the early to mid-90's, the girl in question was only 13/14 at the time.
The most shocking thing in the allegations for me is that it is girls. For some reason I had him down as being a fan of Young Boys Berne....
I've been to Scarborough once or twice, didn't think it was that bad, been to much worse places like Westminster and st ives.
Scarborough council plan to put a statue up of him.. Or they did..... I also thought he was male orientated. Didn't someone come out with a story about being his secret daughter only for DNA to show she was fake ? Hard to know why it never came out while he was alive so who knows what he was or wasn't Maybe know more after watching the programme ..
Many allegations have been made over the years, but accusers were not supported and the media chose not to look too hard. The reasons why not can only be speculation.

Must admit I agree with the sentiment of what your saying and I'm not jumping on the bandwagon until I see some evidence. Saville was definitely a weird person and I think people were always a bit suspicious, but surely if there was any substance to this The News of the World and other gossip rags would have been on to it years ago. You have to be a bit wary about journalists who wait for people to die before bringing out accusations.
That hasnt happened though. There have been allegations all his life and a criminal investigation in 2007.
