Missed your post when I made mine! :)

Sometimes people just cannot be helped, just like our Swansea friend here. Some are far too quick to make judgements on managers/players. Swansea had a good start, but have lost a few of their last games - a win for us on Monday leaves us just two points behind them.

But that isnt our focus, our focus should be on supporting our team, and let others write us off.

    Hughes Is...

    Complete Crap?
    Covertly Compromised?
    Cleverly Capricious?
    Charmingly Cute?
    Chewing Cock?
    Chomping Carrots?
    Creating Champions?
    Clearly Camp?
    Canoodling Canaries?
    Caressing Clowns?

C'mon Northy, WTF does it mean?

He has nothing much to turn round IMO apart from results and they will come .
Most of here had us down for three points max at this stage ie a home win first day as the rest were difficult:
    The League Champions
    The European Champions
Spurs and our old mates 6 points to Norwich .

We have two ... A decent performance away to our bogey team and we held the league leaders and European champions.
We were fantastic against Spurs and City IMO .

So of course we must back him the complete club would die if he was sacked.

Christ Northy, we mean to say we could have had Del Bosque and saved £1.2m a year...? Frankly getting Maradona in on the cheap would have been the QPR way under Bernie & Flav...

Some people have very short memories. We became the laughing stock of English football, sacking countless managers after a handful of games. We bemoaned the way Briatore was running the club, we even then had the chance to watch the shambles in hi-def in The 4 year plan. We all saw the absolute joke that was Briatore, yet there are so many fans trying to emulate him and are talking more **** than he did. Why???

We knew from the start that Hughes takes a while to get a team playing his way, less time than he's had at Rangers, but then he hasn't exactly had an easy ride has he? Came in with just 2 weeks of the transfer window left in January. His star buy got himself sent off twice and missed 7 out of a possible 15 games. Yet we faced the 'run-in of death' and defied all the critics to survive, just. But hughes did it.

Now things aren't going his way this year either so far with so many injuries in one area, but the signs are that we are coming good. So why the hell should we get rid of him now, that just doesn't make sense. 2 wins and we're in the top half. 3 wins and some fans will be saying we're heading to Europe.

If we are still in trouble come the start of December then I think Fernandes will have a difficult choice. But for now we ALL have to get behind Hughes and the team.

as i was saying....sparky has to go or you will be back in the lower leagues before you know it.....
A much needed plan B in the second half if you are to rescue this and even if you do it ...sparky must go..

Whilst I don't buy into the "Hughes is rubbish" theory (I think he is an average man-manager, poor tactician, good scout of talent), I feel I should point out that a) he signed Kolo Toure, rather than Yaya and b) Hughes had Fulham bottom of the league until the players revolted against him and he reverted to Roy's tactics.

I feel Hughes has just fallen foul of a right job at the wrong time scenario. He's not the manager to rebuild a team, he's the manager to tweak a decent team up to the next level.
