Not now NO, it´s the wrong time FFS. Normally if we were in the market for a new manager, NOW, I´d be running around the street naked, BUT NOW ??? Top 6 as we type, playing really good football, won 3 in a row, a feel good factor in the squad (well most of it) & most if not all the fans really optimistic. NP has this season atleast imo, but I ain´t the owner.

    Hope Not.

Since Sir Martin O'Neill departed in 2000 we've had 12 Managers appointed as the "New Manager" (not including caretaker managers) and therein lies why we have had the problem in getting back to the Premier League.

    Please King Power Noooooooooooo

FFS Harold your'e 65 go and get your old age pension!!

Nigel Pearson is the best manager we have had since Martin O'Neill. Only Micky Adams along with Nigel have achieved anything

We have now won 3 on the spin, 5 out of 8 and with 2 winnable games coming up. We are 1 point off the top and should we pick up 6 points this week then I think we will be top of the league

What a load of bollacks, would never want him as our manager! Svens spending would be nothing
compared to what arry would spend, Bet Portmouth regret having him, they might have won the FA cup, but
what a mess they are in now, you might blame the owners but arry got the players.
Ask Southampton fans what they think of him.

    Load of crap...

Nigel Pearson would have got us into the play offs IF he had stayed..

He will take Leicester City to a top 4 finish this season...

No one can be sure of a top 2 place in this league but who knows..

HR would piss about with your team , spend millions , flop and then piss off.

I wouldnt want him at Hull City ..

    Agree with all the above.

With FFP just around the corner we need transfer pragmatism - young prospects (a la Vardy etc) and not big money "names".

We finally show some consistency and then this story. Annoying.

What a ridiculous time for this article to come about. In no way should NP be sacked, he should be given this season at least.

If, however, we were to sack him, Harry Redknapp would be the only manager I would want.

You bet Portsmouth regret having him? He took them from nothing to a place in Europe. Okay, he spent a lot, but he was allowed to by the owners. Harry isn't the only one to blame for Portsmouth's demise. Probably that bloke who took over claiming he had billions, then after a few weeks was like "Actually, yeh, I have nothing..."

How is that any different to what would happen if he manages us?

He'd only come here if he was offered a financial package too good to turn down. He'd also want substantial investment for transfers. Add to that the cost of getting rid of NP and it quickly mounts up.

The owners have reportedly already run up £60m (?) of debt against the club and that really has to be addressed cos we can't keep operating like that.

NP has come in and not only has he managed to build a team with a great mix of youth and experience but we're also playing some of the best football we've seen for some time. He's also given us a very good base to work toward some sort of financial security. To sack hime now would be unforgivable imo.

For me, Redknapp is little more than a mercenary and I wouldn't want him anywhere near the club. You go and ask Pompey fans whether a fleeting european appearance and an F.A cup was worth what they're currently going through.

... paper talk, just that, lazy journalism IMHO, I sure Nigel wont be losing any sleep over these stupid articles..
and I give Top and his old man more credit than to look to make changes to a 'winning' club, Nigel and his men
have turned this club into a real one, playing good football and getting results.... the Premiership may still be another season away but a steady build would see us stay there... if and when we do get there...

I think the fact the fact they stuck a photo of Middlesbrough playing Ipswich is indicative of the inaccuracy of this article...

There is only 1 manager I would sack Nigel for and that is Jose Mourinho. Anyone else and I would stick with Nigel

As I have proven many times already I am a "ITK". My source inside the club secured this photo of Jose at the King Power Stadium after intial talks with Top. Things are at a very early stage though

And yes the deal to bring Jose to the KP does include Cristiano Ronaldo and Iker Casillias. Why do you think Ronaldo is so unhappy at Real. He has had his head turned by a bigger fish
