    <ok>

    Diouf has a football brain born out of intelligence and experience. For too long we've missed a player of his quality - and I don't just mean with his feet. Snoddy/Gradel/Howson were great players for us, don't get me wrong, but none of them had the same effect Diouf has on us. Perhaps with experience in top divisions, they'll get there, but over the years we've dropped too many points and lost too many games due to naivety. Players like Austin and Diouf are composed, and that's something we've lacked desperately. I'd say the same about Kenny as well. Our defence hasn't really clicked just yet, but they look so much more comfortable knowing Kenny's behind them.

    Always thought he was a tad lazy if I'm honest. But that said, a lot of top, top players are/were lazy. Last season just confirmed it really. I know he wasn't happy with everyone leaving and he wanted to leave, and I know at times last year we were truly, truly awful, but he just looked moody and surly most of the time, and I just got the impression he wasn't really bothered anymore. I get it that he wanted to leave and further his career, I don't hold that against him. I just wonder if, in the same situation, you'd get players like Austin and Diouf not putting the effort in. Somehow I doubt it <ok>

    Leeds fans licking the arse of El-Hadji Diouf and giggling hysterically over the prospect of solid, hard-working players like Howson and Snodgrass (who had CLASS, by the way) getting injured or not replicating the form they had for us.

    Yet we'd never laugh at the misfortunes of twats who once played for us like Bowyer and Woodgate, because they're leeds fru n fru and dirty leeddsd

    Makes me feel sick motherfucker, how far we done fell.

    Arrogance, Belligerence, CLASS.

    Talking of belligerence and arrogance, here comes Jerel with his anti-Diouf rant

    As I have always said, while Diouf keeps his powder dry at LUFC, he will be supported 100% by me

    Didn't Ben Parker supposedly say Howson was forced out? Also regarding Snoddy the club wanted him to extend his contract with Warnock's promise that if Leeds didn't win promotion he would help him find a new club/get to the Premier League. That is a manager who could be sacked midway through the season, could leave throughout the season and is only contracted himself until the end of the season. I don't blame Snoddy for not wanting to extend his stay at this shambles of a FOOTBALL club under Bates. In an ideal world Leeds would have done what they did with Beckford in League One, however the gamble this time is much riskier, hence Bates cashing in.

    Fair comment. I don't mind people not giving a **** about them, it's just those who actively wish ill on them, call them Snotgrass/Snakeinthegrass and belittle their commitment who irk me. I think those people have sadly been duped by Bates propaganda. If those people admire other players who've left us, whether that be the ****ers Woodgate and Bowyer, players who wanted to leave like Strachan and McAllister, or Beckford in more recent times who is still rightly adored rather than ignored, I request their criteria for what sort of departure IS permissible for a Leeds player.

    Thought you were including me in that bracket <laugh> no worries then. I'd never laugh at them for doing whatever, and I wish them all the best at Norwich and in the future, but since they're no longer at Leeds my interest in them has waned considerably. <ok>

    Oh Jeril Ifil??? where have i said i want the 2 want aways injured?

    Diouf has kept his nose clean since he has come to LS 11, and played well, so give him some slack.
    Bowyer was a thug and a racist little twat, typical darn sarf barra boy who should of done a stretch for what he did.

    I think you may have had a heavy Saturday night and not feeling too good today??

    To be clear, that was in reference to people on other forums. But you did mock them and make out like they're in some way either hate figures or in some way less valuable than other ex-players.

    <ok>

    Maybe. :bandit: I do feel myself in a dilemma where LUFC is concerned though, and sadly our recent upturn in form hasn't felt as sweet as it should, due to the reservations I have about our current ethos and set-up, not to mention the dampener that the whole takeover saga and recent debt rumours has put on things.

    And that makes me sad, because you know, Leeds United is pretty much what I live for.

    Yes, because he went to our biggest rivals and spat on a Leeds fan - uh-oh, just like Diouf is known for doing... better get the excuses in for King Eric so we don't appear to have double standards.

    I don't think Snodgrass or Howson leaving the sinking ship that is Bates United to go to Norwich is in any way comparable. Bates showed them a lack of the respect other clubs would have shown, and arguably in Howson's case forced him out.

    Snodgrass is a sluggish player for his position, he is also not agile. When doubled up on, he had no plan b and was muted out of the game. He is a talented player, anybody who denies this is deluded, however he is not the best thing to come out of the championship.
    Diouf is an upgrade on Snoddy by far. He is technically more adept, more skillful, more creative, more determined, better touch, better finisher, more influencial, higher pedigree, he`s powerhouse, he is talismanic, he is a crowd pleaser and he has back up plans for when teams try and take him out the game.
